Anyone have a good WING recipe? I'm trying to find the perfect chicken wing recipe...but so far I've made good ones, but nothing GREAT. My husband LOVES chicken wings, and I'm always trying something new...so if you have a recipe to share, I'd love to try it out! Thanks! |
What kind of recipe are you looking for? BBQ or breaded? I have a great wing recipe that you use butter milk to marinate overnight and then bread and they are yummy. |

If you are looking for buffalo wings, I have the easiest recipe of all. Get a bottle of Emeril's wing sauce. I find it at Safeway. It is cheap and yummy. |
I love hot wings. Can't wait to see your results. |
Here's what I do. Chicken Wings by Misty Set the oven for 375, and spray a foil-lined cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Take your (fully defrosted) wings and rinse them with cold water. Put a scoop of flour (no need to measure) with a few dashes of salt and pepper into a bag for shaking. Shake the wings a few at a time and place on the cookie sheet. Try to not have them touching. Bake for 45 minutes, turning halfway. Brush with your favorite sauce (on both sides): teriyaki, hot wing sauce, bbq, etc, and put them back in for 10 more minutes.*note: the sauce can be pretty thin like hot wing sauce, so if you use bbq sauce, thin it with a little water. Dipping sauce: Put a blop of mayonaise into a bowl. Sprinkle with a good dash of garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Whisk with a fork and add a bit of milk until it is the consistency of salad dressing. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. It will thicken a little more. Yummy!:chicken: |
YUMMY!!! I LOVE hot wing sauce. I use Frank's Red Hot mixed with Tabasco and pepper. It's really good and now I'm hungry :) |
We had some tonight, which is what prompted this thread :) I use them frozen... 1.dip in egg/milk mixture 2. roll in dry mixture of crushed herb croutons, salt, red pepper, and italian herb seasoning 3. fry in pan w/ 1/2" canola oil in the bottom, about 6-7 minutes per side 4. Put on broiler pan, bake 15 min per side at 400 degrees 5. Dip in Cookies' brand hot wing sauce, bake 10 minutes 6. Dip again in Cookies' wing sauce, turn over, and bake 10 more minutes 7. Let rest 10 minutes on broiler pan 8. Serve w/ Blue Cheese, Celery & carrots! I did this tonight, and it turned out GOOD...but I'm still trying to find that "perfect" recipe! |
Oh man now I feel like eating hot wings. Yummy in the tummy. |
