o yea another thing. When my mom first moved in here she was in her 20s. She told me she was alone, this was before my dad, before having me and my brother. Anyway she saw 2 men shadows at the door in the living room, they just stood there staring at her. She took the bible read it out loud, while walking around the room and rebuking them and they left. |
I used to not believe in ghosts, but in the last 2 years or so, I've started to believe they exist. It sounds to me like you have a gift of some sort or a sensitivity. If you aren't afraid, you probably arent dealing with any kind of mean ghost here or anything. Maybe a kid died in your house at one point (sad). If you want it gone, I would talk to it and tell it that it's time for it to move on and that the house is yours now. :) Good luck! I think my house is haunted. but not a bad kind of haunting. We've lived here for 15 years. My neighbor said that an older man died in this house several years ago. At first, it really freaked me out. But then I realized, a ghost doesn't = posses you and take over your soul. It could be someone who was a wonderful person and feels like they still have work left to do. Like if my Grandma suddenly appeared in front of me, I wouldn't run screaming. So I figured just because I don't know this guy, why would I run screaming if he appeared for me? Now, if I saw a shadow person or something, THEN I'd be OUT.OF.HERE. haha. My best friend, her aunt and uncle, and I went up to Gettysburg, PA last year. It was SO much fun! We are planning to go on the midnight hike at some point where you're almost gauranteed to see an orb or something of the sort. |
so after reading a few stories on that website someone posted, I slept with the lights ON last night, Im NOT kidding! I live alone and although my condo is only 20 years old, and Ive NEVER seen anything like that, I was SPOOKED out of my mind!!! HAHAHA So I woke up at 630am and it was starting to get light out and I turned the light off and fell back asleep for another hour! HAHAHA |

The house is still "heavy". I told DH about all the stuff we talked about on here. He just thinks we're all nuts. He says it just "mind over matter" and that I keep feeling this because I keep telling myself that I am. If I would just "not think about it" then it would go away. Riiiiiiiight. |

He made it sound like not only did he think I was nuts, but that he didn't believe me. Because you know, I LOVE going around talking about this stuff and making myself sound like I'm crazy. He was HERE for some of it. He was HERE when my shoes moved. He's heard me say a thousand times, "Did you see/hear that?" |
Wow...interesting house you have.I do believe 'they' exist though. From what I heard before, dolls and pictures that has eyes, nose, ears, mouth needs to be put under the sun from time to time or else they can be possessed.I do not really know about teddy bears but personally I do not keep any dolls and no human pictures hanging in my house either. I have seen the shadow man once in a ladies toilet in my university's dormitory at 11pm at night. It was a fast glimpse but I could make up the height and size.I have so many stories to share but I don't have the time to type long now.I am sensitive too and I sometimes talk to the dead in my sleep and I mean real conversations but if I ask them to not look for me anymore coz I am scared, it will stop. |
My parents house, which they bought as an old, abandonded estate house, is over 100 yrs old. When I was younger, I remember all kinds of noises and things happening . My parents explained them all away - old houses settle and make noises, and doors open and close, etc. I believed it. I even believed the part about the airlock that made the toilet flush in the middle of the night. (Yes, Virginia, ghosts do use the toilet;) ). The house was part of the underground railroad (we found a hidden room) and before that, there was an indian reservation in the field behind the house on the riverbank. The burial ground was uncovered during the flood of agnes very nearby. The scariest day of my life was when I walked around the open graves with the bones still in them before Cornell Univ. came to remove them all. It was a late afternoon and a storm was brewing. I can't explain the feeling, but my gf and I both felt something like fingers touching us and people walking around us. We ended up running the entire way home. My brother now lives in that house and has been doing some major remodeling. Apparantly, the poltergeist, or whatever it is, is a little upset, because it has tried to push my SIL down the stairs a couple times. Her dad is a full-blooded native american and her uncle is a shaman. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but she seems more in tune with it than anyone else. Things have moved, been smashed, and flown thru the air. I, for one, am a believer that spirits of some sort do exist. As for my house, all the strange creatures here, I can see, thank goodness:D . |
IF there is something here, I don't get the feeling at all that is bad. I'm not even sure I believe there is anything here. Almost everything that has happened I can come up with other explanations for. I can't explain the shoes moving. The heaviness could just be me. Maybe it is "all in my head" and its just really bad anxiety or something. I know sometimes I can literally feel my blood pressure rise and my face and ears get really flushed and my hands get really hot and red. My chest also gets really tight. All of which sounds like an anxiety attack. Maybe I'm having a perpetual nervous breakdown? |
