wow I would be a little afaid but it is kinda neat too. Our house was built in 1908 almost 100 years ago. No Ghosts that I know of here but the house I grew up in. My Grandpap used to come visit after he passed over. I hope they go away or you learn to get along somehow.Try praying :) |

Sending prayers your way, because no way would I want to be in your position. Do these wierd things happen to others in your house? |
I live in an old house too and they do have alot of creaks and groans |
wow these things have always fasciniated me but I dont think I want to live with them.... but how cool... d |
Yes, other people have reported feeling the "heaviness". I don't know about people who lived here before us. They have also witnessed the lights, the television, the lamps, the putting things down only to find them someplace else - but all of those things have other explanations that "could" be the cause. The only things I really can not come up with any sort of alternative explanation for are the last time the cabinets were opened, my shoes moving, and the atmosphere. |
Thats soo wierd. |
The only thing that is a constant is the heavy feeling. If it wasn't for that I'd be fine with everything. It just gets draining after a while. The lights do the flickering thing pretty often, but that could be faulty wiring, or something. I see the shadows pretty often too, but that can also be explained away by any number of things. The relocation of items can be explained by just being plain old forgetful. The stuff I don't have an explanation for doesn't happen often at all. We've been here 10 months and the cabinets have only been opened 4 times. The shoes have moved once. The television and lamp coming on only a handful times. So, it really isn't as bad or weird as it sounds. It's that damn heavy, thick, cluttery feeling in the air that is driving me crazy. |
I'd probably think I'm crazy and check myself into the loony bin:p I read that you blessed the home.. did you do it yourself or have a priest come in? I know that priests have "special" prayers to bless the home,, you, the person (ghost) in your home, and to send them away... Plus, if you get a priest who has been in your town a long time, maybe they can tell you who the homeowners were... jmo |
I'd LOVE to have a priest come in, the problem is I won't find one in this town. lol I live in a tiny little hole in the wall, don't blink or you'll miss it town in Georgia. Nothing but good ole Southern Babtists around here who would probably claim *I* was possessed and the town would get together to "get the devil out of me". (I am not kidding, they REALLY would. I also mean absolutely no disrespect at all to any members who may be Southern Babtist. I'm not speaking about ALL Southern Babtists, I am only speaking what I have seen and heard in this particular town) I was raised Catholic. So having a priest come wouldn't hurt my feelings one little bit. |
