This past weekend was the Flip Flop Summer Tour Concert here in Detroit at Ford Field. My best friend Lauren and I went. We had Sandbar tickets. The stage was in a shape of a "T" It was really cool. We were on the left side of the "T" up against the stage. As soon as the curtain dropped Kenny came out with his guitar and he ran up the stage to face the whole crowd. Then he came back and took his guitar off and made his way down the catwalk so to speak. He then kneeled down in front of me and I almost died. I couldn't believe it. He shook both my friend Lauren and my hand. It was so awesome. This is my second time in the Sandbar and the third time I've seen him in concert. His shows are amazing and so much fun!

It was Pat Green, Sara Evans, Sugarland, Brooks and Dunn and Kenny Chesney. Here are some pictures from the concert if you would like to see. Enjoy!

I know we were really close. They have chairs in the sandbar and then during Sugarland they took the chairs away so it made it General admission and if you didn't hurry you wouldn't get up against the stage like we did. We had a blast though. As soon as I saw them moving the chairs I grabbed my friends hand and I was like come on! LOL

Oh i love your pictures! I wanted to see him again cuz he was soooo amazing last year! but he sold out here soooo fast! Wow you are a lucky girl! I just love him! He puts on a kick A$$ show!!! :)

omg i love kenny chesney. he puts on one heck of a show. so much energy, besides being absolutely adorable. i finally someone who loves kenny chesney. i thought i was dreaming when i read your thread. i live on long island ny and country music is not really listened to or liked, we do not even have a country station on the radio.
i saw kenny chesney at madison square garden about 2 years ago. i had to buy someone a ticket so they would go with me. everytime i go to a country concert, i have to buy 2 tickets, one for me and the other for someone i am draggin with me. it is very hard to really enjoy something when the people with you are not interested.
i just saw george strait in conn at mohegan sun this year.
a few years back alan jackson came to long island and i saw him at nassau coliseum.
also saw tim mcgraw by himself and with faith hill.
do you like any of these guys?

I love everybody you saw, especially Kenny & Brooks & Dunn. I've seen Brooks & Dunn in concert. They were great. Lucky you to have gotten that close.

how fun!!! i actually get to go to the one on Sept. 6 (i think that is the date LOL)

I am very excited about it. I didn't realize all those artists would be there...i thought it was just kenny and sugarland :)

I love country music. Last year we just got a second country radio station here. Thats all I pretty much listen too.

Kenny puts on an amazing show that is so filled with energy and just all around fun. He's a really laid back guy and goes out before the show and goes around to see the people that are tailgating and stuff.

Brooks and Dunn are amazing as well. Tim McGraw is really good live. I didn't see him with Faith Hill. I like her but I've never seen her live. I saw Alan Jackson two years ago. They had this thing called the "Mega Ticket" and you paid $100.00 bucks and you went to 5 different concerts. It was Reba and Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Brooks and Dunn and Big and Rich, Sara Evans, Alan Jackson and Blake Shelton. I would love to see George Strait.

Have fun. I'm not sure if all of them will be there for that concert. I know that he was doing like 6 or 8 huge stadium tours and thats why all those other people were there, but as far as his other shows go I'm not totally sure. But hey your there to see Kenny!!!! Have fun!

Sounds like you had a great time! I have a jewelry store, and he has come into my store several times and bought gifts. He's wearing a simple coin necklace from me in this shot, he also wears it in one of his videos.:)

OMG....I just saw this thread and don't know how I ever missed it because I am so in love with Kenny Chesney. He is my favorite all time singer ever. I remember back when Kenny started out and Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson were really big then and everyone talked about them all of the time and I always said I will take Kenny over all of them put together. Every song he sings really touches your heart. I love his new song Dont Blink. He also wrote the new Rascal Flats song Take ME There. I have never seen him in concert but I would love to. I have seen Brooks and Dunn twice and I love Sugarland too so I am so jealous of you for getting to see him and actually touch him.

I LOVE KENNY CHESNEY!!!! I have seen him about 10 times. I even fly up to NY to see my family when he goes on tour and he is up there so I can see him two times in one year. My fiance thinks I am crazy. Actually my whole family thinks I am when it comes to Kenny. I am so very jealous of you. I have never gotten up that close!
