Olivia's first day of school
 

My 4 yr old starts school tomorrow. She is SO EXCITED!

I know I will take 101 pictures tomorrow, but just in case I'm too upset and forget the camera (like I did with my son :rolleyes: ) we went ahead and took a few pictures today.

She looks like such a big girl. *sigh* They grow up too fast.

Shes precious!! Looks like shes all ready to go, post some pics of the big girl tomorrow!!!

I will. I just hope I remember the camera! I've got post it notes stuck all over the house so I don't forget anything. LOL!

And, yes they do grow up in the blink of an eye. Its still hard for me to believe mine are 24 and 22 and neither live at home any longer!!!

You should have heard her. I had her hair fixed so cute in two pigtails with white ribbons and she said, "Mommy, only ONE ponytail. I am a LADY now!" :rolleyes:

You will do fine!! you won't forget anything!!

Jodie - I don't believe this for a second. There is NO way you have children those ages!!! Siblings, maybe, but not children!!

And Graleyne, your daughter is so adorable!! I love her little outfit!

How did her first day go????

Olivia was happy and excited! She was up and ready to go at 5:30 this morning :eek:

We got to school, went in and helped her find her table. (All the kids gather in the lunchroom and have breakfast before going to their classrooms.) Olivia is at the bear table. She got a little upset because she doesn't want to be a bear. She wants to be a starfish. So we had to explain to her that she couldn't be a starfish because her teacher chose the bears. Every child in her class has to wear a necklace that is a brown bear and it has their name on it. My little fashion princess asked her teacher if it came in another color. Mrs. B told her when they got to class she could change the color of the yarn if she wanted. Olivia said, "Good. Maybe we can put some glitter on it too!" LOL

Everything was fine until we had to leave. Olivia waved and told us bye and practically pushed us out the door. I was Ok until we were walking to the car. Then I broke down and bawled like a baby. I decided this school thing is crazy and I'll just homeschool the kids. DH wouldn't let me go back in and get them though. He seems to think I'll be fine in a few days. :rolleyes:

I remembered to take the camera, but forgot to get it out of the car. lol

Olivia looked adorable. She is wearing the outfit she has on in the pictures, only this time she let me put her hair in two pig tails like I wanted. :)

aww...I remember my kid's first days at school. I, too, cried when I left them. But within a few weeks it became quite nice...lol! It's good for them and good for you.....enjoy!

Almost forgot.....she looks adorable in her new outfit!

She's precious. Brings back memories of seeing my little ones go in their classroom for the first time. I'd have to hold back the tears, until I got back in the car, and then I'd ball like a baby.

awe. my son Kyle is going to his first year of preschool this year. he is excited and I am devestated!!:(

Awwww:wub: What a cutie!!! I remember it like it was only yesterday when Katelyn went to school for the first time...............that was many years ago......

I still have two more hours before she gets out of school for the day. *sigh*

I am lonely and bored stiff. :(

Awe, I am glad everything went well. Thats like my sister, she didn\'t want to be an owl, she wanted to be a squirrell. Welll atleast you took pics of her yesterday!!!!
