Monday, Friday and I wish you get well really soon ... |
I wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers and well wishes. It has been really rough the last little while and i just got hit so quickly with the pnumonia. I went to the doctors on Friday for a double ear infection and a sinus infection he listened to my lungs anf put me on antibiotics and an in-hailer. I started feeling worse on friday night and by satuday afternoon i couldn't breath we rushed in to the insta care and they took a chest X-ray and said i had fluid in my lungs and had bad pnumonia she put me on another inhailer and did a breathing treatment. Sunday i was feeling bad again and having a hard time breathing so i went to the emergency room for a breathing treatment. Well....... They wouldn't let me leave my oxygen was so low they were doing breathing treatments every half hour. They finally admitted me sunday night. It was really hard i had a really hard time breathing and was getting no sleep at all. They had me on really high dosages of steriods and breathing treatments every 4 hours. I tell ya it was a test for me i was all alone because my husband and my mom had to jugle the kids 4 days is a long time to be all alone with no sleep and the steriods were making me depressed and emotionla i'm sure the staff thought i was nuts because all i could do was cry. But after much persistance i convinced the doctor to let me come home today. I want to Thank Cindy for posting this thread she has been really great calling me and checking in I also want to thank Eva for calling me as well you brightened my day. I also want to thank all of you here for your kind words it means a lot to me and i am so happy to be home. I still have a long recovery ahead of me but it's nice to be here to do it. The pnumonia is bad and i will be on the steroids for the next 12 days and antibiotics for another 10. I also have to use the powder inhailer for 3 months. I have to take it easy no walking or strenuous activity because of the oxygen. They almost sent me home with a tank but i was one # above what the insurance would cover i had to be 86% and i was 87%. It's a little scary not having it as back up but i am feeling better to be home. Thanks again everyone! |
