I'm Going To Go... 2 Attachment(s) Digital with Scrapbooking! I've been playing about with it today and I much prefer to do it digitally. I can do it on my knee, I can swop between scrapbooking and YTing at the tap of a button, I can still do everything I could before BUT if I don't like the final productI can change the colours... NOTHING is final! I always find I do something and it looks good but then I'll walk away and come back and I'll dislike something but will be stuck with it, now I can change it! Here are the first pages I've produced digitally... they are for my pregnancy book and are of the day I found out I was pregnant and my 12wk scan. Oh, and I don't like the colours of the 12wk scan page SO I can just change it! :D Does anyone else do digital scrapbooking, tried it and disliked it or ever wondered about it??? |

You can print them and paste them into a scrapbook OR what I'm going to do is use a company that print bookphotos and you choose the layout yourself so I'm going to have full print per page and then every scrapbook page will be printed and in a bond book! It's actually my local supermarket that do it and you use software on your pc to layout your book, upload it to their site and then they print it and deliver it to your local store within a couple of days! How great is that! Take a look at their books... http://www.tescophoto.com/wpp/tesco/..._photobook.jsp I LOVE it this way! I'm just learning right now and I was only just learning to scrapbook but I'm finding I'm alot more creative with digital. |

I figured seeing as I had to either print the photos myself or pay to have them done I may as well do it all on here and get the whole page printed off! You're right though, it's ALOT of fun... I've really enjoyed today! :D |
I use Creative Memories. Their digital books are lignon free AND acid free (and buffered so will never turn colrs or get brittle). They are sewn AND glued so the bindings are really strong. The pages are thicker than regular book or magazine pages....a real coffee table type book... and the prices are more reasonable than most places....especially when you consider what you are getting. I'm not a Creative memories consultant but my mother is so I've seen them first hand. Good stuff. Angela <>< ETA: PM me if you want a website link to go check it out! |
Technology, WOW. Thats intersting that you can do it that way. I think I would like it both ways, but I still like to go out and decorate it by hand:) |

I like doing it by hand but I can't sit at the table for long before I start to ache and with the laptop I can sit more comfortable and also Gypsy can't send everything flying! |
Hey, these are great! I've thought about trying it. I do kind of a mix now since I started doing my journaling via textboxes on the computer. I like my pictures too much though and the textures of all the diecuts and such to go completely digital. |
What do you use to do digital scrapbooking. |
Wow thats brilliant! :D |
Could you pm me with the answer, because sometimes I can't find the post again. |
Wow! They look great! I love the digital photo albums. My friend did a photo album from her wedding and it looks amazing!! It isn't like a scrapbook with embelishments, but the pages are set up kind of the same way. The photographer wanted $1500 for the wedding album and she did it herself for $150. The digital albums look so professional!! Good luck on your pregnancy!! How exciting! |
