We live in Charlotte, NC....we found a little piece of land with an older home and we snatched it up. We do a lot of front porch rockin'. Believe it or not our backyard is even better. We love it here!!!

How pretty, I just love North Carolina. We have always owned but I am in a retirement home now and as much as I feel it is right for me now, there is nothing like your own home.

Joan, at least in a retirement home you do not have all the responsibilities that comes with owning your own home. I imagine your retirement home to be just lovely!!!

I've been to Chapel Hill and fell in love with it there but the mountains are great too. Yes there are many good things about my place and letting them worry about the plumbing, painting, replacing carpet etc etc. is wonderful.

Well let's see what's outside more front doors.

and njoydaride I could adjust very easy to your view. I know this is Los Angeles but I was brought up in Chicago and that looks like the outer drive along the lake in Chicago and some times I get so homesick. Down deep I think I am a city girl.

Thanks. :) Yeah it is nice. It's nice living in a little house in a small town where we don't really have to worry about much.

Love your house, neighborhood and fence. I remember once when we asked about population your town was VERY small compared to many others. I remembered you liked pretty much everything except the mailman LOL Hope that guy isn't still on the route.

You have a good memory. :) Yeah there's about 7,000 people in my town. and the only thing I didn't like was the mailman, but he's gone now. :D

this is what the outside of my house looked like last year. i haven't taken any other recent pics because it looks horrible...HOT HOT HOT weather and NO rain.

New view!

1. Out the front door
2. To the left of the front door
3. To the right (at the end of the block there are woods that you can see, and back there is an adorable path that's fun to go on. :))
4. Out my back door (oh my gosh leaves! gahhh!) (PS - in the house behind me *that you see in that picture* is where my worst enemy lives. Lucky me.)
