Please pray for my aunt My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer a year and a half ago and had a double mastectomy. A few weeks ago she discovered something "funny" beside her right breast. Now she has to go and have more tests run, but her doctor said they aren't ruling out cancer. She is really really scared that the cancer is back. Well, after hearing this news it prompted me to do a breast exam while I was in the shower last night. Low and behold I found a lump on my left breast and noticed that a little "freckle" I had next to it has completely changed. So if ya'll don't mind throwing an extra prayer or two in there for me I'd be ever so grateful. |
I am so sorry you and your aunt are going through such frightening times. I have lost several close family member's to this terrible sickness. I certainly will keep both of you in my thoughts and prayer's. |
Oh my!!!...I hope you both hear good news and put your fears to rest.... |
Thank you! My aunt has a dr appt next week, but I couldn't get in to see my doctor for 3 weeks. She has had a rough 2 years. She lost her husband to cancer on valentine's day 2 years ago. Right after that she was diagnosed with cancer in both breasts and had to have the mastectomy. She had a rough recovery from that (both emotionally and physically) and now to think it might have come back is almost too much for her. |

I'm so sorry :( I will pray for your family |
Thank you everyone! I feel so bad for her. I can hear in her voice how scared she is and it just breaks my heart. :( |
I\'m praying for both of you. I\'m sure your aunt is terrified, especially with what she\'s already been thru. I know you\'re scared, too. You may have to do what I did. I found a lump a month after my hysterectomy. I wasn\'t scheduled for a checkup for 2 more weeks and the doctor\'s receptionist ticked me off when she told me I\'d have to wait. My husband took me to their office, signed me in, and I sat down. When she asked me why I was there I told her I was going to sit there until he saw me. I only had to wait an hour. It\'s something to think about. |
Sending lots of prayers your way... |
