craigs list post .. I look at other city craigs list that are not too far from me , watching for a little girl yorkie to add to our family, anyway is this lady nuts or what? rover burgers? oh yea i did send her an email lol I didnt post the header with her email addy, I wasnt sure if that was allowed or I would have this was her post on craigs list You know what, some of you pet people really make me sick. I can`t for the life of me figure out why you value your pets as much as your children. I don`t have a clue why you think it is so horrible that people try to adopt out their pets when life throws them a curve ball. So are you telling me if I come down with some horrible disease, or my husband dies and I have to earn a living for my kids and work 3 jobs to support us while going to school to get an education and a real job, so then I no longer have time for a dog, that I am some kind of hideous person for wanting to find a better home for him? Or if my child becomes sick and we can`t affored the extra money to care for a dog I should keep the dog anyway and let my child suffer? Or if I get the job offer of a lifetime and my company sets me up in a place that dosen`t accept pets I should turn down the best job I was ever offered that can make life for me an my family better? Are you friggin kidding me? Do you have any idea how foolish/ignorant you are to even post such a thing? I LOVE my animals but let me tell you, if times ever got really tough, I mean end of the world tough, we would be having rover burgers for dinner. I s**t you not. To even compare a child to a pet is insane! To all of you out there that life hasn`t been so kind to, please, continue to try to find a happy home for your pet. Don`t listen to these fools, you are doing the right thing. To the people that think these people are so horrible for needing to get rid of a pet for whatever reason, please seek therapy, you people are nuts. Don`t even bother sending me any nasty emails, I already think you people are crazy, it would just prove my point |
:dizzy: Wow! That seemed endless. As they say, you can keep your mouth shut and let people think you are an idiot or open it and remove all doubt. She certainly removed all doubt! ;) |
wow, sounds like someone is just a tiny bit upset!! I do have skin children, but I consider my dogs as my children too. I can't visualize a situation where I would give up either skinkids or furkids. I also realize non-dog people don't feel this way about pets. I just feel sorry for them that they will never experience this kind of unconditional love. also wanted to say the "rover burgers" is way over the top, even for a non-dog person, geeez!! |
There are so many people that just don't understand the concept of a dog being like a child. So many people don't understand at all how much Lacy means to me and how much I love her. To me she is and will always be my child and I would do ANYTHING for her and anything to keep her. Sometimes it is so annoying having to try to explain to someone that she isn't "just a dog." |
Looks like that person needs a Valium with a capital V,lol!!! I cant believe the rover burger part either, thats insane. |
To be honest I love my skin kids more then my fur kids, but I would never ever give up either one, as the loss of either would be more then my heart could take. |
It sounds to me that she was taking up for the ppl that were having to rehome their dogs (for whatever reason) and there were others bashing them for their decisions. Yes I did find it a little over the top too. But I respect the decisions of dog owners that feel they can no longer provide for their animal and want to rehome instead of it being neglected. And I dont feel they should be bashed for it as does the writer. Thats the only thing i agree with. If it werent for situations like that we would not have gotten our fur grandson yesterday!! |
