Prayers needed I work with the sweetest lady who was blessed with her 1st grandchild 3 months ago. She was the proudest grandma I have ever seen - brought new bunches of pics for us to see every week. And this little boy was the cutest little guy I have ever seen. Point a camera at him and his face lit up like a xmas tree. This lady would give you her last dollar and if you needed more, she would go borrow it for you. On 7-11, her grandson died - unexpectedly. His death was being investigated - her son passed the lie detector, the baby's mother did not. They still investigated. 3 days ago, this lady and her dh were in a head-on collision. She broke her arm, got beat up, but is ok. Yesterday, the baby's mother confessed to killing her grandson. His daddy didn't want to give him his bath right then, so she took it out on llittle Chad and either threw him in the tub or hit him with something - blunt force trauma. Our whole store is in shock. Please keep this family in your prayers - that little boy meant more to them than anyone can imagine. |
OMG! That poor family! Go give that grandmother a big hug for us :( I am just in tears. That poor little baby. Wonder if it was post-partum depression!? |
That is so sad!!! I could never imagine hurting anyone, esp. a baby! I have a six month old and this just makes me sick to my stomach. I'm gonna give my son extra kisses tonight. Some people just aren't right. There are days where I just need a break and wanna scream but one day I'll look back on this and laugh. They are only little once. They should of enjoyed that time with their baby. I feel so sorry for the grandmother. Prayers are coming their way. |
Oh my goodness...I will definitely keep this family in my thoughts! I am a mother and I cannot imagine hurting my babies!!!!! Our first daughter passed away a few minutes after her birth so I cannot imagine someone taking their child's life for granted! I went on to have two healthy beautiful children, against all odds. I treasure my precious gifts from God and it makes me so incredibly sad and angry that someone (especially a mommy) would hurt an innocent child!! I will include this family in my prayers tonight. Adding my prayers to those already being said. What a senseless tragedy. Please extend my sympathies to the family of the dear sweet baby who is now sitting in the lap of our most precious Jesus. I hope that your friend and her husband recover quickly from the injuries sustained in the traffic accident. |

Thank you for your prayers. What makes this even sadder is that this lady is the one person at work who ALWAYS has a big smile on her face and makes everyone who is having a bad day happier. She just has that way. She's the one who would bring in huge batches of cookies, brownies, cakes, whatever for everyone about twice a month. Why do the worst things happen to the best people? |
