Rabbits?
 

Does anyone happen to know anyone who rescues or loves rabbits? My parents have a rabbit that they are just totally not caring for. The bunny basically lives in the dark basement, in a tiny cage and is never played with.

I really feel bad for him and am taking him, getting him a new cage and getting him a check up and neutered. He is about 3 years old, a black bunny.. super cute.

I am putting up a lot of my own money and time do get him out of that situation, but I know that I can't care for another animal long term, in the way they need to be cared for.

So I'm really looking for someone to adopt him, preferably someone with rabbit experience. I am not asking any kind of adoption fee, I just want him to go to a great home where he will be spoiled!

I live near Buffalo NY and would be willing to drive a few more hours to help get him to his forever home.

I've looked into shelters and rescues and so far haven't found anyone that will take rabbits. So I'm really begging for YT help here <3

Any advice or leads is so appreciated! I don't have a picture, I will get one tonight when I pick him up.. but he is all black and a bit of a bigger bunny.. short hair.

I wish I could help... I live too far away and my boys would probably harrass the poor thing and scare it to death. Ive had pet rabbits my whole life! They were liter box trained and such sweet pets... except they chew EVERYTHING but what you give them to chew! :confused:
