Another Missouri Puppymill Busted I think people who do this should spend jail time and never be able to own another animal as long as they live. At least hopefully these poor animals will have a chance to get adopted out to loving forever homes. It just breaks my heart and make me sick because there are 100's more just like this one, in Missouri..... http://www.semissourian.com/story/1232933.html |
Those poor puppies! I hope they go to very loving homes. |
Thankyou Lord hope more get busted:thumbup: |
YAY !!!!!!!!!! ME TOO Panama - ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST ! Those poor poor dogs - now if they can just start busting ALL Mills ....I'm happy for those dogs they saved but there's so many more out there that need some intervention I don't understand why this is even allowed in this country |
[QUOTEI don't understand why this is even allowed in this country[/QUOTE] I agree 100%- how IS this allowed??!!! The problem is our pathetic animal rights (or lack of) laws. Until we can lobby to get the laws changed, unfortunately this will continue. They need to make very harsh penalties for animal cruelty. |
Oh this is horrible! I wish there were more laws and more enforcement that could protect ALL animals! I just don't understand how people can be so inhumane! |
puppy mills Quote:
There are laws on the books right now that would shut down all puppy mills if the laws were enforced! There are USDA laws that state clearly how any animal can be kept. When people ask questions, they say they don't have enough people to enforce the laws. We need to get after the elected officials to enforce the laws. New laws regarding the general treatment of animals would be very good, too, with appropriate penalties. |
this is so sad....how can anyone live with themself know that they are the cause of this pain? |
Saw this on the news last night and it just annoyed me to no end. I keep trying to explain to my mother that those darling little puppies at most pet stores COME FROM THESE KINDS OF PLACES. |
Hats off to the Missouri Humane Society! Keep going....there's alot more that need to be shut down! |
The puppy I got 3 weeks ago (she is now 9 weeks old) was sold to a girl I work with at 5 weeks. I bought the pup from the girl at work because her little boy did not seem to understand he needed to be gentle and we decided little Maggie would be better off with me. The puppy has just been diagnosed with intestinal problems which requires surgery. I am almost convinced the lady she bought her from is running a puppy mill. She met the girl I work with with the puppies and told me yesterday that the reason she did not allow her to go to her house was because she had been robbed. I don't believe it for one minute. Any breeder who would sell a Yorkie this young is shady. And, the lady seems to have no real concern for the puppy. I have talked to this lady twice in the last few days and she sounds like a real nut case. She told the girl I work with that a dollar store food would be fine. Who do I contact about this lady? I have already called the Animal Rescue League and they told me to call the city animal shelter. Is this correct? Need advice on where to start. |
That's great.  I hope all those dogs get adopted to forever home. They deserve that. :) |
This makes me so happy in a way but so sad too. I'm glad they raided this place and took the pups away..One down!!! I feel the pain of these dogs for the way they're treated! This is so sick and I never knew anything about "puppymills" until I joined YT. We need to spread the news because they're are SO many people who have absolutely no idea about them and continue to purchase dogs from them - whcih only SUPPORTS THEM!! |
WOOHOO!!! Way to go for shutting those CREEPS DOWN!!!!   Now lock 'em up and throw away the key! ;) Thank God those precious babies were saved! Now, if they can just crack down on more of these awful Mills... |
Thats very sad. But the good thing is, they got busted! Praise GOD!!!!!!! :D |
