Hey guys - first I want to thank ALL the people who ordered Labels and cards with your cute cute yorkies on them - I enjoyed making each and every one.....But - I'm so slow and used to being busy and wanted to set up an Ebay store - WHO can give me some tips ??

I'd like to know the answers to these questions -

Can I link my own Website in the Page ?

Can I link Photobucket albums (just like my Signature) or do I have to upload alot of pictures ?

Can I do CARDS And Labels on ONE Store or should I do seperatly

and last - Any tips on setting up an Ebay store ??? I'm SO Clueless !

IF I upload alot of pictures- (for those who ordered and I have your demo's) - is it ok if I use YOUR labels ?? (WITH NO ADDRESSES OF COURSE !!) The pictures will look just like the attachments below

I have no advise.... just wanted to say Good Luck! I've only sold a few items on Ebay so have no knowledge of setting up a "store" but I'm sure others on here will. Your cards and labels are adorable so I'm sure they'll sell well!

Thank you Angie !! :) :) I just want to do this econically.. I've been looking at other peoples stores but still don't really know what's allowed and what isn't.

Hey V, I've got some answers for ya ;)



Can I link my own Website in the Page ? - YES...you can put the link to your web site in "About Me" section - or, in the section where it lets you add in your favorite links

Can I link Photobucket albums (just like my Signature) or do I have to upload alot of pictures ? Nope you don't have to upload alot of pictures - you can most definitely use Photobucket (that's what I always use) and then when you are ready to type in the descriptions of the items, you'll want to click on the HTML tab and copy/paste the Photobucket picture link whenever you want it in your auction

Can I do CARDS And Labels on ONE Store or should I do separately? You can indeed do them in ONE store ;) You can categorize your items, for example your categories could be: clothes, shoes, purses, home decor items, doggie items, etc. You make a section for each (in your case you would make a section for cards, and then the labels) - and then buyers will click on their links to view those specific items

and last - Any tips on setting up an Ebay store ??? I'm SO Clueless! - GOOD pictures, be VERY descriptive, and fair on the shipping (which I know you will) :p Explain all of your terms (shipping time, store policies, etc.).You get the picture :p

great idea V! One suggestion though....RAISE your prices! lol

I have no clue how to set up an EBAY store or account. But I would keep all your products together in one Store ... I would think it'll make it alot easier for people to shop for multiple items.

Is there a customer service # or an email....I would think a site like EBAY would be able to help you out.

And of course you may use Phoebi & Chandler pictures....they said they'd be honored!

Good Luck! I have a "funny" feeling you're going to be a huge success on there!

My husband says that they have a lot of that information online. Probably go to the Ebay homepage and look for help files. There are also courses out there that can help, but I would be careful of ripoffs.

We do not have a site and don't know how to do it ourselves, just thought we'd let you know that you may use our label photos however you wish. :)

It's been a while since I've had a store so I'm not sure if I can really be helpful or maybe things have changed. But what I recall is you are not allowed to link your website in your listings. I used to have a banner that included my website address.

You have to upload a lot of pics and that's why it takes so darn long.

You can put whatever you like in your store. It does not have to be for only one thing or another.

and LOL Yorkiemalt - you sound like my husband - he sees how much time I spend on each order & thinks I should charge more - I get ALOT of raised eyebrows - but he loves looking at all the finished orders and loves the dogs pictures - if he doesn't 'like' a label or a card - I start over LOL ...he's my critic

and chloeandj - that's what I had thought too and why this post....I've been thinking about this a long time and know it's going to take a day to create so you guys are being a HUGE help !

I think by tommorrow I'm going to just do it. I can't stand not having side work to do - it's like I'm lost unless I'm working on something when on the computer - the good part is I caught up on avatars :) - but I just bought a bunch of supplies to print Cards and Labels and need to use them:confused:

I think you'll do great! I have no advice but wanted to wish you luck! :thumbup: :) And feel free to use my labels as well. even though they are so old now :) I deffinatley need to reorder! :thumbup:

thank you !! you had a name change too but I always LOVED your labels - it was alot with the 6 dogs but we did it right ? :D :D Thank you for saying it was ok - I just fixed them to show your new kennel name - that's a good one for showing multiple 'Floating' heads LOL

Sounds like you are going to be very busy! But I had a little request. Do you have time to post here, or start a new thread with some of YOUR fav labels? Like the ones you enjoyed the most designing or just really admired? I think that would be kinda neat!! What do you think? :D

I def plan on ordering a lil of everything when I get my new babies. Oh, did I say that? BabIES? I must have meant just one right? Cuz I just put a teaser out about one....hmmmm??? :p

Hi you can put your website address on your ebay page where you are selling your product. I would suggest that you look at other stationary companies selling on there, so that you can get a feeling of prices. You want to make sure you give great customer service( As you have no problem with this) because they rate you on different things. The more positive feedback you have the more cust. you will get. I would sell them both together. Please remember that ebay has a low fee and paypal has a fee as well, so keep this in mind. I would buy one of those scales either through ebay or usps to make sure that you are charging the correct shipping, plus any service charges you might want to charge. Be very specific in what payment you accept, refunds, returns, etc.
I am sure you are going to sell, sell, sell. You are more than welcome to use the labels you made me. It would be an honor! You have what it takes to be a good salesperson and build a properous business~!
