As far as the low salt diet goes, my father in law has Meniere's Disease which without getting into it is regulated by a low salt/sodium diet. I have pretty much read any thing and everything on low salt so he can stay well. Here are a few good sites to look at. It is a very difficult diet to deal with because EVERYTHING has so much salt in it now days.

My sister went in last Monday with a bad urinary tract infection and kidney stones and she was in the hopsital for 3 days. They said she had a blockage in the urinary tract that could have killed her. They are doing some sort of heart test today. They are also really worried about her possibly getting blood clots. So everyone please pray for my sister. Also she will have to be put on a low sodium diet, does anyone have any expereince on the type of foods someone can have on a low sodium diet? I was doing a bit of research and it looks like almost everythign except fruits and sweet food contains sodium so Im trying to learn what kind of food she will be able to eat so I can help her with this. My sister loves pasta and fried food so this diet will be very hard on her.
