Tammy Faye... I'm not a fan of Tammy's but I caught a preview of an interview that she's giving to Larry King tonight & I was shocked at her appearance. It was heartbreaking to see her in that condition. I believe she has inoperable lung cancer...She has to be so frightened right now....It was both sad & disturbing to watch her struggle to talk just during the small snippet I saw ..She looks nothing like she used to...I plan on watching her interview, she surely needs some prayers for strength to endure these last months of her life...Just an FYI.... |
i saw her just a few weeks ago and she said they have done all they can do and it's just a matter of time. i think it started as colon cancer but not sure. |
That is too bad to hear. I didnt know she was sick and I was never a fan of hers either but no one deserves to suffer. I like your signature line. It was my favorite line in Steel Magnolias. |

Poor thing. I feel so bad for her.. she's such a great person and such an inspiration of a real Christian; not being judgmental and accepting everyone. I tried to watch it but I just couldn't.. maybe at a later time. :( ETA: She has lung cancer and it stayed there. It also amazes me how positive she is.. in a preview I saw, she was so excited that she gained 5 pounds and can't wait until she can have a burger and fries! |
It is truly so sad to see the condition she is in. She said she weighs 65 lbs. |

I saw the preview earlier also and just got done watching the whole interview with her on Larry King. Her husband and her son were on as well. I feel soooo SORRY for her. That poor lady. It is so hard for her to even speak - she runs out of breath. It really seems as though she is "hanging in there" and keeping the faith though. She is now 65 lbs (she WAS 60 lbs but recently gained 5). She just does not look good at all. Poor woman :( God Bless her. And this is kind of off subject - but for anyone who watched....did you see the ADORABLE little Yorkie that she was holding in some of her pictures? OMG - it was soooooo cute!!!! |

I feel so bad for her. For some reason, I always liked her. She was always sweet. I wish she could get better. |
Today cnn.com had the clip of her on Larry King. It was so sad. 20+ years ago when I would surf on the TV, I would always stop and look at Tammy because her make-up was soooooooooo unbelievable. And here she is dying and she is still wearing it. When you hear her talk, even now, you've got to give her credit for a kind heart. |

I saw a tiny bit of her interview and was shocked at how bad she looked....She seems to be really keeping herself upbeat in light of being in pain. It was scary to see.:( |
