Graleyne | 07-17-2007 01:53 PM | My 4 yr old vs on line shopping So I mentioned to my 4 yr old daughter that we might get a new dress for Susanah. The conversation went something like this:
Me: Do you think that dress is pretty? Do you think we should get it for Poopanut?
Her: Its very pretty! Let's get it! Can I go with you, Mommy? Can I go with you to get the dress for Susanah?
Me: We don't have to go anywhere. I can send her the money with the computer and then she will send us the dress in the mail.
This is when the 10000000000001 questions start.
Her: How will she do that, Mommy? Did you tell her where we live? Does she know? Is she like Santa Claus? Have you been nice? Has Susanah been nice? Is that how you get a new dress? You just be nice and the computer sends you one? Does Santa Clause live in the computer? I wonder how he got his big fat tummy in there. Do YOU know how Santa got his tummy in the computer, Mommy? How did Susanah's dress get in the computer? Are you going to just print it out with the printer? How does the mailman know WHICH dress to bring Susanah?
Those are just the ones I can remember. She is STILL asking questions. I just directed her to her big sister instead of me! :D |
