Ohhhh Cindy! We live 30 minutes from the birth place of Harley Davidson. We have 6 dealerships within a 40 mile radius. Lots of bikes for sale up here. Labor Day, 2008 they are planning HD 105th birthday party and the opening of the HD Museum. That will be a party! And we ride!!! Hubby has an Ultra Classic Cop Bike. I sold mine two years ago but did ride for 3 years. We have ridden all over the country. So if you are headed to the Midwest just drive on up to Wisconsin and we can hook up. We'll fix you some brats and beer. There is a ferry that crosses Lake Michigan so you could then visit all your friends in Michigan. Count me in on YT Biker Group!

I am so jealous of you. Listen, my understanding is that the Alaska Highway is paved all the way through. Yes, there may be some road construction, but only for small stretches. I say you head North and don't stop until you have a cocktail with Santa. Or me.


I need to know the name of the road. It is a life-dream of mine to drive to Alaska.... What better way to see the scenery.... Where there are paved roads, Ron will go

Come on down, would love to meet you. The coffee pot is always on at my house. If you coming I-20 to Texas, it comes through my city. We have a Harley Store here too.

Our Harley Store lets us take the furkids in when we are they. I promised the furkids some Harley duds one of these days LOLOL

Whoa... I think we have the largest dealership in the country! But I'd like to go where you are to see your beautiful babies!!!! :p

Hmmm...we have a friend who last year, started out on his Harley in Key West and drove all the way thru to Alaska...he was like 300 miles from the northern most tip of the state and hit a pothole filled in with gravel...totaled his bike and caught a plane home...so watch out for potholes in Alaska! :eek:

We just may be heading you way in October. Hubby's club is having a rally somewhere in Nev. He is riding out and I will be flying to meet him. I want to get him to Vegas (I've already been there) just to ride down the strip. We love stopping at dealerships where ever we travel. Let me know where it is.

Pet Day was in April. Lots of HD owners brought there pets for a fun day of dog washes, pictures, giveaways and friendship. Met lots of great people that day who have the same love for their bikes and furbabies. Some showed up on their bikes with their furkids in tow either in a pet carrier strapped on or inside their jackets or backpacks.

I think the 'big' one is in Henderson, then there's one on Eastern and they just built a really nice one on Sahara Blvd (closer to my side of town). I'll get you the exact addresses if you'd like. :)
