Wow thanyou for sharing this info:thumbup: |
I had problems on Ebay recently, i had a bracelet up for sale and someone bought it..then i get a message from ebay telling me that it had been bought by an unauthorised user..think they were using someone elses ebay account or something....so i relist the bracelet....it sells again very quickly..and i suspect it's possibly the same buyer..too many similarities! they then try to get me to sell it to them outside of ebay and try to deposit money into my paypal account! I just ignored the emails and thankfully i never heard from them again. you have to be so so careful now.:( |
Another way to protect yourself is what my hubby and I do. We have a credit card with a low limit. Anything we buy on the internet is purchased with this card, so if someone steals the card info they can\'t cause too much damage. We have another card with a higher limit that we use in person only and never on line. Several times the bank has called to increase the limit, but we always tell them \'No\'. It\'s just another layer of protection and it\'s kind of funny to think that if it\'s stolen, the theif will be so dissappointed when they can\'t go on much of a shopping spree...:D |
omg, that\'s for telling us this. YOu can\'t trust any site these days! |
yes...anytime you get an email from paypal, report it to them immediately. they have a fraud site. never never answer anything from paypal on the email. always call first. i get them all of the time and report it all of the time. don\'t just delete it the next time you get one, report each and every one of them |
Thanks for the heads up! |
