ouchie! Loving known as swimmer's ear....outer ear infections hurt like h*ll! I'm sorry....did they happen to give you some ear drops along with your antibiotic? They will help immensely if they did. Usually they'll have cortisone in them to help reduce the swelling quickly. If you have them, here's a hint....heat them before using them. Stick the whole bottle in a hot cup of water. Feel better soon! |
I hope you feel better soon! |

I hope you get to feeling better. I know those hurt pretty bad. :getwell: Here are some get well flowers. :rose: :rose: |
Hey Lori, I feel your pain. You are the lucky one because it will go away with the meds. I have a fungal ear infection that there is no cure for. I have had several tubes put in to no avail and even had a mastoidectomy where they cut your ear half off and try and clean out the mastoid and it didnt help at all either. I feel bad for you because I know how bad it hurts. |
When I had one the doctor told me to put cotton wool in my ear and lay my head on a hot water bottle wrapped in something like a fleece several times or a towel... Hope you feel better soon huni... |
