All this talk about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears getting yorkies and now this! CRAZY Can you imagine Nicole Richie having a baby??? Have you seen her around kids on the Simple Life?

I just hope that she does what's best for the baby and gains a healthy amount of weight and listens to her doctors.

Most people make really good parents when they do have their own. What worrys me is the possibility of her going to jail while pregnant. The food they feed you there is not healthy at all, and she could lose more weight.

:goodpost: I completely agree, just because of how she is in The Simple Life doesn't mean she wouldn't be a good mother... I've seen some episodes involving kids and she has been great. Let's not critise her for being a good mother before she's even given birth... it's not fair to make presumptions... we don't like it when people do it to us so let's not do it to other... JMO

Sometimes when "wild" women have babies, it settles them down. Kinda shows them what's really important in life. Let's hope this will be the case with her.:)

I agree :) I watch so many of them (prob shouldn't admit that..) and you can tell that they have to be scripted somewhat, and where it's not scripted they editors pick and choose what they want to bring out the story.

I didn't mean she'd neccesarily be a bad parent. I just can't imagine her having a baby - it just surprised me to hear she was pregnant..just didn't see it coming LOL. Other than that she seems to be good with them..just needs to work on the language around them.

She has two dogs too: a pom named Foxy and a shih tzu named Honey Child. As far as I know she takes good care of them

Hopefully she'll handle it when it comes------starting now by getting her self healthy.

They were making fun of her on the Soup yesterday. They showed her in the infamous bikini picture running down the beach and they stuck the baby in her stomache and its head and legs were sticking way out on her sides about a half a foot on each side. Did anyone else see this? I thought it was a little disgusting and in very poor taste. I hope she puts some weight on soon or I am a little afraid for the baby.

I agree, it tamed Madonna quite a bit and at the time she was out of control doing things to get attention.

I think Nicole Richie is hysterical and I would love to see her get herself together. Maybe she'll be a fantabulous mother. I hope so. What worries me is her history of heroine addiction. I *really* hope that's completely in the past.

My best friend thinks I'm crazy. When Nicole lost all that weight i said "Ya know, I'm really worried about Nicole". He's a total smart a** and said "yeah, me too! She hasn't called lately...I'm embarrassed for you"

I saw that. They never said if it was fact or not so I started looking online and found the article I posted.
