Man, I have really missed some stuff lately, I don't know whats going on here anymore, I knew about people calling the breeders, but now people are getting pm's, if someone would like to educate me on whats going on I would like to know...But I can not believe someone or more than one are picking on my YT family...what is wrong with you people...YT is a place to talk, learn and have some of the greatest people as friends...I am really upset about this...Get a life and leave my friends(family) alone....I am being very serious when I say this when we found Peanut Monday lifeless, my first thought was vet and the second one was ask or tell me YT family for help..there are some jerks on here but mostly good people that really love animals...This is a great place and with the stuff thats going on...if you are that person I will pray for you a heart or for you to get smart and leave:mad: |
I think it's time to NAME NAMES..... If there are individual(s) sending inappropriate pm's then EVERYONE here should know who that person(s) is/are so that we can be aware of their public posts as well. I have not received anything inappropriate or unwanted..... only GREAT STUF from my beloved family! |

when I posted back at the beginning of this thread I wasn't meaning your idea was a bad one - cause it wasn't, BUT - if YT went to donation only - it would change...There's so many that come here with 'New Yorkie Owner' questions or maybe a sick dog and end up sticking around... they would never have had that chance if it was donation only - and if it was donation only - I'd have never had the chance to meet so many of you - :D :D :D We just have to take the good with the bad. There's always going to be spooky people out there but thankfully most people aren't. I know people are really upset but if everyone calmed down and just kept posting like usual - these people wouldn't get the thrill they seem to strive for - just keep enjoying the site. Don't let these jerks take away your form of entertainment or whatever reasons you're here. These people aren't worth stressing out about. I've never understood why people don't share where they buy their yorkies. Everyone tells you to be careful when buying one but they act like it's "top secret" information where they got theirs. I think you should use common sense with regards to personal information on the internet but it's helpful to let people know where they can be safe when purchasing. Most of the time you only see where NOT to buy from. I've had people PM me, unfortunately my girl came from a one time breeding so I wasn't able to be very helpful but I share that information with whoever asks me. I love when someone introduces their new yorkie and actually *gasp* names the website! It's refreshingly wonderful so I don't have to be a detective and try to figure it out. With the amount of members there's bound to be a handful of unfortunate incidents but more often than not, it's compliments people PM you or post. |

Gosh...I just read thru this entire thread, and boy am I tired!!! Seriously, I think we should know "names" of those that are causing problems...it would make it a whole lot easier to ignore. I enjoy YorkieTalk, and I'd hate for it to have to change. I say let's just keep on posting, sharing information about our babies, enjoying each others company and ignore the ones that are trying to ruin a good thing. If we get unpleasant pm's or email's...simply report them, administration should then inform us who they are. Everybody have a great week end...kiss your babies...continue to show the love we have for each other and keep YorkieTalk a happy and healthy site. |
I for one could care less about the name of the person or persons causing all the trouble. Honestly, what good would that do? I just trust that Admin is taking care of the situation and that is that. Knowing who it is isn't going to ease my mind, trusting that Admin can handle it, however, will.:) :thumbup: |

I do think you have to be careful about divulging information about yourself and where you got your Yorkie from in PM's as it can turn regretful later. You can't trust just anyone nowadays. I had to learn this the hard way :(. |

Everything that has being going on lately is SO sad...:thumbdown I don't live in USA so I rather choose a breeder from here near where I live IF I decide to buy a 3rd furbaby - so that's the reason why I NEVER PMed anyone asking where did ppl get their babies from... But it's sad...:( Since I joined in YT, I've seen so many GORGEOUS babies and even told hubby that if we lived in USA I would ask ppl where they did get their baby from (breeder)... so sad, because now I know what the answer would be...:crying: Amazing how a few bad apples can ruin it to a whole bunch of GREAT ppl... |
