Purchasing Puppies from Pet Stores Please check out the following link to view the corresponding video. It's so heartwrenching. <|3 http://www.petatv.com/tvpopup/video....=wm&speed=_med |
That made my heart hurt. :( And to think that this is just one of many thousands of mills. How do they get away with it and how do they sleep at night? Bravo to Charlise Therin. I wish more stars would speak out. Oprah or Ellen could make a huge difference in one hour. |
Oh God.. i just watched a few secs of it in the middle and couldnt watch anymore :( gosh all of the horrible people that did this to them.. may karma come back at them!!!! and i agree with "itspuppyluv".. im not sure if oprah did anything on puppymills.. but she should definitely speak out (or speak out again) about this issue.. then more puppy mills will be shut down! |
most people dont know about puppy mills! i have told someone at petssmart about it once and they were totally clueless! |
Hey Style - funny you posted that one video - I just posted it on our Millbuster sister site to YT - PLEASE go register and be a member there !! We'd love to have you - it's about helping dogs and all are welcome http://www.millbusters.com/forums/index.php |
OMG is all I can say - yet again!!!!! - I got my Baxter from a pet store - She swears her dogs are from local breeders - I have no way of finding out for sure (unless the papers with his parents is proof)- and I'm not sure if I want to - I do know her puppies are limited - she gets one or two in a week -of different breeds - Thank god Baxter has had no medical issues - In no way would I have wanted to support these puppy mills. What they do to these dogs is just horrible. These puppy mill people should have to live the way these dogs do for a week and maybe it would end. It's shocking to hear - but much more shocking to see!!!!! - I'm still in disbelief that anyone could treat an animal like this. My next dog will come from a breeder - although from what I read in some of the threads they can't all be trusted either - It sucks the world has so many horrible people in it. |

You can look on your papers or demand them - if your puppy was bought out of state or there is a USDA number -chances are it was from a mill |
I agree! The same happened to me when I first watched this video. I'd watch some portions of it, and when it came to the visually excruciating sections... I would immediately have to look away. I thought it would be invaluable of me to post it, despite the visual content. If posting the clip would be informational to people, and save a pup's life... I figured that would be for the best interest. Please... spread the word. :dogsm3: :2hearts2: |
You can help spread the word - We normally can't post links to other sites but this is a sister site to YorkieTalk http://www.millbusters.com/forums/index.php it's about MILLS and pet stores - there's Videos and posts about how to help fight this problem - we'd love to have you join !! Edited to add - some of the videos are very graphic though we do put WARNINGS on them - it's up to you to know if you can handle them or not - they aren't posted to upset anyone - they're posted to SHOW people what really happens out there. |
It took me a while to work up to being able to watch this. Heartbreaking. I just can never wrap my mind around how it is possible for anyone to treat animals in this manner. I will never understand it. I also don't understand why this goes on and on and on - despite so many people working against it. That dog that was "spinning" in his cage - faster than I could ever imagine possible - is one of the most sick things I've seen yet. I wish we could scoop up all the puppy millers and put them all in these cages so they could experience a human mill - living in excrement, eating maggots, growing sick, walking on wire. I can't think of any other way that people like this could comprehend what they inflict upon their fellow creatures. |
