So sorry this has happened to you. There will always be those that like and thrive on making trouble for other people..........not for the love of the dog but for the love of the trouble they can cause.

I think by the number of positive posts showing you support and the fact that you have contacted and are in good with the breeder shows that the person was just out for trouble.

I am glad you did not post who that person is, as they would surely be bashed beyond recognition by the rest of us..........BUT, I firmly believe that you should contact ADMIN about the matter and name names with them. It really is an unforgiveable infraction to the peace and fun and friendship of YT.

Be mad but don't be hurt........nobody believes the other person anyway. So at least now we know there is an enemy among us!!!! A back stabber! A liar and hateful person. We'll just have to keep our eyes on the lookout for that person........I am sure they will rear their ugly head again!!!

I always make it a point of reading your posts when I check in here. Not to fan the flame, but I just went back and read your Tatum thread and I can't find one single reason this person could have had for doing such a vicious thing. As evident by all the support you have received from this thread there is no doubt you are a wonderful (over the top) mommy to your babies. I hope Tatum continues to improve and that you can see this as an instance of some sad loser with nothing going in their life to have to do something like this and a coward to boot since he/she didn't express her "so called concern" here on the forum.

It seems like there is a bit of unkind exchanges going on here this past week. I'm hoping it's unusual and not the norm. I come on here like most others to enjoy and learn and to see this kind of thing popping up is disturbing.

Wow! The only valid reason I can see for something like this happening is due to complete IGNORANCE concerning Tatum's illness. They obviously think you purposely made Tatum sick... go figure. From what I can see, you're a super mommy!

And from the responses you are getting, I'd say this person is the minority. Please don't leave YT. It would only hurt the majority. And we need you!

I am soooooo sorry this has happened to you. I haven't been on here long but you are one of the people who posts pictures and threads that I always look at. There have been several threads on YT lately that have turned quite catty and it saddens me. Most of us come on here because we LOVE our babies so much and a lot of people out here in the "real" world don't get us. I find it hard to believe that some people can be so malicious. So sorry you are having to deal with this, you shouldn't have to. Your breeder has faith in you or she wouldn't have trusted you with that precious baby girl. It's obvious to everyone how much you love and care for both your babies. Hoping you and Tatum are both feeling better soon.

I am sorry that we have people like this in our breed. I have seen it more than once and it is uncalled for. The second dog show that I went to as a spectator I spoke to an exhibitor that lives in the same city as I do. She asked me what Champions that I had behind my dogs and I listed some of them for her. The names that I listed are well known and well respected breeders and one of the dogs won the Breed at Westminster. She cut down every single one of them and I was just about in tears. Since then I have learned to let ppl like that not get to me. They are just out right mean. I also have a verse that I quote to myself: Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

I hope that you will not let her get to you!

This person should be banned from YT. We already banned a few that felt entitled. Brooke don't let this @ss hole make you feel anything but pity for them. Their life is obviously so bleak that they have to make stuff up about someone elses life. What a loser! :rolleyes:

I don't know you either -but from your above statement - that's all you need to know - YOU know what they mean to you. YOU know what lengths you would go to to help / protect them. Oh my gosh! I can imagine you are so upset!! I can tell from your post how mucht his has hurt you! All I have ever seen is post after post of your babies looking very happy and spoiled! Oh my goodness, I was just sitting here crying reading everyones replies. You guys are SO GREAT. Thank you EVERYONE so much for all of your sweet and caring replies. They truly do mean so much to me, more than you will ever know. I wish I could reply to each and every one of you individually and thank you.

I have now received over 30 PM's since starting this thread...so it will take me quite a while to respond to them all, so if I haven't gotten back to you yet, I am so sorry :(

I have been talking with Anne's breeder ever since all of this happened, and she is just SO ANGRY that-that person e-mailed her and said what they did. She has been SO sweet to me, she is just the nicest person. She knows very well that none of what was said is true, and simply let it go through one ear and out the other....but has apologized to me so many times for that person doing this - however SHE isn't the one that needs to apologize for ANYTHING.

All of this "stuff" was the first thing on my mind when I woke up this morning...and it still makes me absolutely sick that someone did this. THEY know that it isn't true - and they waited for the perfect time to e-mail her and say this. Unfortunately, they did this right after we found out that Tatum has Coccidia (again, the perfect time for them to say all this to her) but it's too bad for them that Tate's breeder knows me better than that - and she didn't believe a single word of it. I guess they figured that by Tatum having Coccidia, they could contact her breeder and say what they did....however, they made themselves look like a complete ass (excuse my french!) because I have taken Tatum to the vet, and she is on medication for it - and Tatum's breeder knows this. Her breeder has been breeding for MANY, MANY years...and knows that a dog getting Coccidia doesn't mean that it is the owners fault. It was completely out of my hands and was nothing that I could of prevented. All I can do is treat it - which is exactly what we are doing and everyone knows this.

Anyway, I could go on and about about this. And if that person were in front of my face right now....let me tell you, they would get an EARFUL.

You can talk about ME all you want, but to say that I don't take proper care of my babies is just the BIGGEST insult EVER to me. They KNOW GOOD AND WELL that they were lying, and they should feel like a complete and total idiot for doing what they did because they accomplished absolutely NOTHING.

I do not know you (only from your posts). I enjoy your pictures of Stedman and Tatum.

I would not give this person a second thought. If someone posted something unflattering about me, I would think they were jealous and would not be worth my time thinking about. We all know how spoiled your babies are.

Please do not think about leaving YT. We want to keep the good ones, and the vindictive ones can take a flying ****!!!!

This is what can happen when one becomes member of a large board. You just don't know who you'll meet or run into and trust me, there are plenty of psychos out there!

Don't let this person get you down. Your breeder believes and trusts you but I hope that you don't decide to leave us because of this. Hold your head up high and take the higher road.

Had a phone call just last night from someone that I haven't spoken to in a while. It seems as though a member of this board was "fishing" for information about another member here and when my friend didn't give her the info that she wanted or get involved, this person decided to start a thread about her (without actually naming her). So sad......:(

Hey Brooke - glad to see you posting!! There are many ignorant people out there who assume that a pup that comes down with coccidia and/or giardia have done so because neglect and filth.

Like, I said - IGNORANCE - all you have to do read just how easy it is for our babies (especially the younger ones) to contract them. Not so with Coccidia (thank God), but with Giardia once they've had it, they will always be much more prone to getting it again.

I know Kim...this is exactly what Tatum's breeder and I have been talking about. Being a member of such a large board can alot of times cause problems. Sometimes you just never know what kind of "crazies" there are out there - and it is so important for all of us to remember that, and to be careful and watch what we say.

I for one am going to be VERY CAREFUL of what I say on this board from now on. And just so EVERYONE knows...I will not be sharing anymore information (not that I have shared alot) on Stedman and Tatum's breeders. I'm sorry if that sounds rude - but you just never know who you are talking to these days, and who is just trying to pry you for information. I have gotten quite alot of PM's from people wanting to know where they came from...and from now on I just won't be answering those PM's anymore. Same thing goes for those who reply to any threads asking me where they came from - I am just not going to be answering any of that anymore :( I swear I DON'T mean to sound rude....but it is just too hard to trust people these days.

To those of you WHO I KNOW that have asked, the above does not apply to you (you know who you are!!) :) The same thing goes for anything personal as well. Not just about the babies....but about ANYTHING. I am just no longer going to post anything personal here. This board is just SO big - and you never know who's reading what and who's lurking, trying to find information about you or start trouble. This is something that we should ALL REALLY THINK ABOUT. Just THINK before you post is all I'm getting at.

And girl...I am so sorry to hear about what happened to your friend. I cannot believe someone actually called her and tried to get information about another member from her. Some people are SERIOUSLY CREEPY, and are just SOOOOOOO nosey! Good for your friend for not telling her anything! :thumbup:

I have told them because I just never would think that someone would be so mean as to stir up problems. I am really sorry that someone has caused you so much hurt, but you sound stronger now and you know it's all silliness. You have to know that we love ya and that we don't believe any of it!!

This board has gotten to be very big, and there are some that come just to stir the pot. I agree it's probably best to just say nothing personal on here anymore. There may be some that want to know their breeder for a good reason, but because of sour apples, they now can't. Just like everything else, we loose some of our freedom because people have to abuse the ammount we do have. It is just sad...nothing but. I'm sorry this has happened to you, there is nothing you've done to deserve it. Big hugs to you and your babies during this hard time!!

Brooke--I am glad you are back with us. I agree it is very important to be careful about information that we give out on the board. Although YT seems like a very closeknit group of friends, it is really just an open forum that anyone can come into and drag for information about its users. I love to come here and visit, but I try to be very careful about not giving out a lot of personal information.

I am ashamed to say that I preach to my students all during the school year about Internet safety. I am ashamed, because although I preach and teach it, I often find myself doing the exact type of things that I caution them not to do. I remind them constantly about predators and others that are just trolling for information.

Maybe the things that have happened recently on YT are a wake call for us! Although most of us are adults, I know we also have children and teens on the forum. I want them safe! Since they are likely on other forums and boards, too, we need to remind them not to give out personal information!

Sorry, Brooke, I just realized I had gotten on the soap box and forgot to get off...LOL!

Once again, I am glad you, Steddy, and Tatar Tot are back...How is the little bit doing today?
