Any One Use hair straightener products?? I am sick of pulling out my flat iron every day.. Its either that or it goes back in a pony tail... Dose any one or has any one used hair straightener products? and if so ...did it work, how well and what kind was it?? |
I found this thing done called Japanese Hair Straightener or thermal Straightener... has any one ever gotten this done? |
No I heard that is is good but expensive and only lasts a certain time,. My dtr uses a straightening lotion she switches a lot and uses the flat iron daily. |
i use my chi iron everyday! the kind of iron you have too makes a big difference i have fine thin hair and it has lots of static and the chi iron is the only one that works for me. also paul mitchel straitening serum works well with your iron. |
My Daughter Used To Use The Iron All The Time, But Now Has Bought Some Straighteners - Ghd - And They Are Fantastic, Much Kinder To The Hair, They Are So Quick To Use. The Only Problem Was The Price They Cost 100 Pounds..... Not Sure If They Are Available Over There?????? |

but I am due any day now with my 1st... and I don't know if I will have time to straighten my hair... let alone put it in a pony tail.... My hair is really well.. WILD lol and I just wondered if any one has use any thing on there hair that keeps it straight... I wish I had straight hair.. Oh how I dream of to just wash and go lol. |
i use a hair straightner... hmm why dont you go get your hair permanently straightened? well.. not PERMANENT.. but the ones that last about 6 months? it can be a lil pricey but it can save you a lot of time! |

Chi has a fantastic permanent straightening system. It is a bit pricey but it really does work. You only have to do the whole process once- after that, just root touch ups. I've also heard good things about Yuko (I think that's the right name) which is also permanent. |

I've thought about using a straightener, but haven't gotten there yet. :p I'll have to try one of these products :) |
Ugh I hear you all. My hair is SUPER SUPER fine, but I have many more hairs per square inch than most people so it's basically one giant puffball, and in the summer with the humidity, I am at a loss. I am willing to spend a good bit to get something that will get it stick straight, but I've tried things in the past, and they did NOTHING. Sorry I'm no help, but I flat iron pretty much every day. It works all right until I go outside...! |

My hair is a mix between Arlene and Jennifer (scroll down) Slight wave and frizzy. Those after pictures look inviting. I want hair like Karen's after pic (aww perfect) http://www.yukohairstraightening.com...ing-images.htm Monica's hair looks like my mom. Not quite that wild, but close! |

Im not sure if you have ever heard of a product calles chi but its a good line if you want youre hair to be straight! there is a ton of diff options you can choose from! also if there is an ulta where u live u can try it and if it doesnt work u can take it back with ur receipt as long as its 50% full :) |

Your baby boy might have your curly hair. I think it's cute when guys have curly hair that's just a tad grown out. |

I use a CHI straightener and CHI products (keratin mist, straight guard, and iron guard) and love it. I wouldn't want to do the permanent straight because I like to wear mine curly/wavy sometimes. If you want it straight all the time that would be a good way to go. I've also heard good things about the CHI permanent straight treatment. |

I get soo mad at my hubby sometimes... He will wash his hair and not even comb it sometimes and it still looks NICE! Heck I would KILL for hair like that! Here I am spending HRS on my hair to straighten it or at lest 15 min to get it all in a pony tail, after my shower. |

250 is not bad!! Some places I have seen online back home in tx charge 100 a hr (which is not too bad) but they put pic online and tell you this took so many hrs... well one I looked at.. this girl had hair about the same length as mine(shoulder length) that cost 400 and then there was a girl who had hair down to the middle of her back (that was really wild... worse then the girl with shorter hair) that cost 400. So its like the lady who did it...took her time on the girl with shorter hair to get more money out of her... I dont have a hair dresser back home.. Not scent my wedding back in 04 when mine made me mad ON my wedding day! So I need to find one that dose it...that is GOOD! and wont try to over charge me.... |
Wow $250 is awesome! I used to work at a salon (as an esthetician) and they did the Chi method starting at $500. It really does make a dramatic difference though. My daughter just had a Matrix straightening done. It was only $150 but isn't permanent and the results weren't even close to the Chi but it did help quite a bit. She's only 12 so no $500 and up treatments for her yet.:p |
