Super Sweet 16 is a show about spoiled brats throwing lavish birthday parties complete with luxury cars as presents, extravagant venues, and celebrity music entertainment.

Made is a show where a teen wants to be made into something they're not. For example a band geek wanting to be a cheerleader or a prissy cheerleader wanting to be made into a skateboarder. It's documentary style and they get these coaches that help them through their transformation.

I thought it was the one where the spoiled brats get everything they want for their birthday with an outlandish party. They are obnoxious brats and the parents indulge it. They all should be pop knotted. But i now what you mean, sometimes you just can't turn it off. You really want to but you just can't.

Yes I think thats a big part of it and I always want to know... is this really real???? Do parents really indulge these lil brats? The one the other day the girl threw a fit bc her mom gave her car on the day of birthday and not her party.

I want to slap'em most of the time but yet like a trainwreck, I cant turn away lol

Crazy huh -- ungrateful lil twits! Theres this one on now that the girl is from MS and doesnt seem like a brat but very much the spoiled pageant kid.

Loser. Just kidding. I watch Real World/Road Rules if it makes you feel any better. I don't know why. I am in no way proud of it. Actually, I watch a bunch of goofy crap and I don't know why. The past week I haven't been going to sleep until around 1am because I've been watching old episodes of American Gladiators on ESPN Classics. There is probably a 12 step program or something for that kind of pathetic addiction...I'll let you know if I find one.:cool:

oh god! Did you see the one last week about the girl in Miami that had a FIT because she wanted her car on the day of her party and her mom gave it to her too early. That's how you know they just want it to show off

Yes and if you watch the remix she says -- i wish they would have shown on tv me apologizing to my court.... umm, some apology --- and making fun of her friends that were in NO WAY overweight but a lil pudgy.....

I havent found out when it is on yet but I happen to catch one the other day after a Super 16 -- not to bad and I caught part of one where the grandma was mad bc the girl had the baby... talk about your DRAMA!!!

Yes! I just discovered that show today as a matter of fact! I am house sitting for my boss and their 15yo was watching that! I was like, what the heck is that? :eek: Is that for real? :eek: And sure enough it was!! Although I'm all for couples being happy, anybody in their teens doesn't really know "what they want in life"

And since I watched it, I guess I need help too!! :p

I confess that I sometimes watch it too. I don't watch it all the time, though, because it makes me so mad!! These kids take for granted everything they have & only want more!!! Most people don't spend for weddings what these kids are getting for a BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! And then most of them go all BirthdayGirlZilla (you know...like Bridezilla, only for birthdays) and act like total B****es.

These girls should have to do one of those switch shows where they have to live the life of someone less fortunate for a day...maybe then they'd appreciate what they have.

I watch Made all the time! and all the 'dating' shows on mtv as well, but only usually at 3 in the morning LOL me and my bf will watch them when he gets home from work at that time on the weekends. i'm so tired but can't help but watch.

Sadie's mom -- you are dead on! Send these kids to a poor neighborhood or a third world country for a few days. I think you'd see a changed kid!

I love Sweet 16 too, we get it shown on the UK MTV, I love Laguna Beach too...
