well i am new here and i just love to read and learn on all different situations. you see i have 6 month old yorkie(tinkerbell) & a 3 yr old rottie(taina)and i guess its so interesting to actually read about all diff situations on this breed that hours go by and i am actually still reading, i also love to see all the photos on these babies(even though i still cant download mine on tinerbell:( and i do have to admit that i love the way everyone here talks about their babies. you see everyone @ my job thinks that i am crazy and actually make fun of me and i finally found people that actually feel like i do!!!!!!!!! i have read diff threads and see that there are a lot of people that have made friend here. thats very nice but anyway i dont think that new people are scared its just there is so much to read and actually learn from here that maybe a year can go by and you may not post a new thread due to no time:)but anywho its a pleasure to meet all of you and hopefully we will speak very soon:) p.s. if someone can help me with my inability to download my tinkies picture please pm me or something:) thanx |

I for one was scared to post for a while and just lurked because I thought people would think I was stupid... But now I realize what a nice bunch EVERYONE is and I'm posting a bit more...still not like crazy. I still would rather read and look at pics than post :p |
i read way more than I Post also. I know what you mean about feeling like an outsider. Maybe one day I'll be in the "incrowd" LOL |
I think it's intimidation...I joined and posted with a question about Winston's health...He is my number one priority...Got some answers, responses...but it wasn't until I started posting more often, that more and more people volunteered advise. So yeah, now I'm addicted to YT, and you guys are stuck with me!!! But maybe we're just not every ones cup-a-tea...And yes...the amount of knowledge on this forum is out of this world, and I do feel like part of this fabulous family of Yorkie lovers...Thanks...for inviting me in. |
I know I for one don't post a lot because by the time I get to the thread, everything I would say has already been said. And then there are times when I think the thread "Thread Killer" is all about me. (So someone pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaasssssssseeee post something on here after I hit submit) I also worry about when I post that it didn't sound right, not really what I meant. Many a-times I have started to post then backed out of it. But I have learned alot on this board, and think it is filled with lots of wonderful, knowledgeable people. It took me forever to get to 100, like six months, but now I must be posting more, cuz I noticed I was almost to 200. Look out Villette, here I come!:) |

I think people join to have access to the pictures that if you arent logged in you cant see. That is why they dont post. Yt has alot of good information but I know what you mean by not feeling part of their group. I still dont after 1000 post and wonder if I ever will. Doesnt mean you cant read the threads and add your comments too. I think there are alot of nice people on here that are too intimidated to join in for fear of rejection, being slammed, or even worse, being ignored. |
