I hope everyone is safe!!! It has been raining here pretty much for about three weeks straight. We got the pool ready and have only be able to swim 4 times!!!! --due to all the rain! Today was a nice day, sunny, hot...then came a big heavy downpour that flooded the streets (we were in town)....YUCK! Luckily, we had just stopped to eat and it poured until we were getting ready to leave (talk about good timing). Our rain is hit and miss....some days it is pouring heavy non-stop (with flash flooding), other days it is a slow rain (all day), some days it is nice and then it rains and then it clears up again...aurgh! |

Yeah, this rain is crazy. It's been raining every day here in Oklahoma. I hate to complain about the weather, since last year we were begging for rain, but there are starting to be some serious flooding issues around here. And my kids are going through swimming withdrawal. :D |
I heard on the news that they are giving state aide to people that had flooding in Grayson and Cooke counties. Its thundering here again... geesh! |
It is dry as a bone here and hot. We had another fire by Glenwood Springs today. Last week a big fire by New Castle. Please send some of your rain this way. |
I am so sorry to hear about all the fires! Are any YTers in or near Lake Tahoe? I just thought of that! |

This rain is really starting to get on my last nerve. By the looks of we are not going to have much of a summer. We have to cancel family camping trips because all are the lakes are cresting and all the parks are closed due to flooding. I wish it would stop!!!! |
It has been raining alot her in Florida as well. |

We sure could use some rain in Georgia. We literally have wells drying up. My boyfriend and his father are diligently trying to dig another well b/c we are very close to the point of running out of water, literally. There are two counties in north GA that have no water. You\'d think Mother Nature could split the difference. |
