I haven't been in ten years, but I absolutely love the place!!! I hope to go back someday.

I went for my first time Memorial Day Weekend last year! My best friend and her aunt and uncle took me. We had the MOST wonderful time!

My aunt Joan is taking my brother and I for a week this November. She is the ULTIMATE DW fan, so it should without a doubt be an awesome vacation. We're staying in the condo she owns, in a hotel right next to the hotel we stayed at last time. Epcot is RIGHT behind the hotels, so we'll be going there quite a few times. :) and there's a sandbottom pool that I didn't get to use last time due to weather and someone's kid going to the bathroom in it. :rolleyes:

We spent a day in Downtown Disney last year, and I blew all $500 in one store haha. this time I'm going to try not to blow it. :p

Downtown Disney is the best.

I LOVE the Christmas store. LOL.

Big Disney fan here. We are going again in October for 14 days. Last year was the first year we stayed on the property and we stayed at the Carribean Beach. This year since we are staying 14 days we decided to go for a value resort so we are staying at the Pop Century. Next year we are just going for one week because we are going to Hawaii but we are planning on staying at the Polynesan or the Beach Club. My Husband is on Dis too plus a couple other Disney Forums. My mother in law is going with us this year. I hope I dont go crazy. Me My husband and My Daughter have a couple of matching outfits that we got at the disney Store here to wear there so it should be fun.

14 DAYS!:eek: I am SO jealous! We generally stay at Caribbean Beach...it's our favorite. I think when we go this year, we might stay at the Wilderness Lodge. I really want to try the AK Lodge, but it's hard to get rooms there these days...they are limited due to the new construction there.:(

I want to stay at AK too. The beach club has a real neat pool and I have a 6 yr old so thats why we are thinking of staying at that one next. oh and thats also 14 days with my mother in law like I said I just hope I dont go crazy

We stayed at the Polynesian when we went. It was GREAT! Loved it.

Plus, you can skip the bus to Epcot because you can walk to the back gate and go in in the World Showcase. AND you can probably see Illuminations from your room.:thumbup: I think that hotel has a lazy river float too...?:confused:
My goal is to eventually stay at EVERY resort. Sad, huh?:rolleyes:

LOL...we won't tell! :) My family took that trip as my high school graduation trip. So that's why we stayed there...to make it even more special. Otherwise we'd have probably stayed somewhere less expensive...dad's a very "thrifty" person! :rolleyes: But even at that, I think we got a pretty good package deal. And it didn't hurt that a month before we went, my mom won $1000 on the local radio station!

Well, not quite winning the lottery, but a good way to put that money to good use, IMO. :p

I'd love to stay at AKL too.

We are gonna wait until the Christmas after construction is done. I believe it's 08 or 09.

I wish a couple of the hotels had dog-friendly rooms. No way would I stay in an RV.

Yeah. It was one of those "Thousand Dollar Thursday" things. Where they have a song of the day & when you hear it if you're the right number caller you win. I heard it on my way home & raced home & we were all dialing. One from the house phone, two cell phones, and from the fax line. My dad kept messing with us pretending that the radio station had picked up. So when my mom started talking to them, we thought she was playing too.

It was fun spending that money in Orlando! I'm a huge movie person, so my favorite is MGM. I'd love to go back & go to Animal Kingdom, though. It opened the year after we were there.
