Tattoo in honor of my grandma 1 Attachment(s) My grandmother passed away March 31 of this year. It's been rough but I'm getting by knowing she's not suffering anymore (she had cancer). In honor of her being my Angel I went and got a tattoo. Its alittle over a month old and in the picture its all "goopy" its on my left ankle. I guess I should take a picture of it now that its not all gooped up and healed. RIP Nanny ~ I love you  |
That is beautiful and what a nice way to honor your grandma. My daughters both have little fishing lures on their feet to honor their dad who loved to fish. |
Awwww, that is too cool. I was wondering if you had went and got it done. I really like it and it turned out great!!! |
Im so sorry for your loss. Very nice!!! Now... does an ankle tattoo hurt? I just got one and it was not that painful at all! I was surprised! |
That is too cool and I am sorry about your grandma. I am almost 60 years old and just got my first tatoo...4GVN...on my wrist. Patty |
That is really nice and what an honor for your Nanny. My son got his first tatoo on the inside of his ankle, a cross with my aunt's initials after she passed and then a year later my daughter got the Chinese symbols for Love, Laugh, Live and Dance on her foot in her honor (it was a saying my aunt gave her). |
Love it! I especially like when tatoos have such a special meaning.... |
Actually it didnt hurt as much as I thought it would. I have a butterfly on my lower back and I had to stop half way because I coudlnt take the pain. I went back over 2 months later to get it finished. I knew I would sit through it because there was a reason of getting it done. My mom is 52 and went for her first tattoo (cant believe it). She got an ankle bracelet and if you ask her if it hurt she'll tell you how bad it hurt. She said it felt like her bone was chattering. |
