I had a scare at the Grocery store!!!!! OMG Last night I stoped at the store on the way home from work. When I pulled up I noticed a elderly lady that was kinda sitting funny in her car. I thought she was just waiting on a friend or something. I was in the store about 10 minutes. When I came back out I noticed the elderly lady was still in her car. Now she was slumped over the stering wheel. I walked over to her car the window was down and she was really out of it. I asked if she was ok she said No. I then grabed my cell to call 911. I was in tears for her. By this time the store manager was out side and the rescue was on the way. She gave me her home number to call her son. I tried to call him about 6 times and no one aswered. She started to feel better but the rescue still wanted to check her out. She had been to dialysis and was feeling weak. She didn't want to go to the hospital and the rescue said that was ok but not to drive. So I told her I would take her and her grocery's home. When we were in my car we started talking and I found out that she was one of my Clients from Work. I do Hair. And Man I was so glad she was ok. Please If you are on dialysis don't go out alone after your treatments. |
You are either an ANGEL in human form or a bonified HERO! I am so glad you were there for that sweet little lady. Good work! |

Good for you for noticing and getting involved & good for her. Did you ever find her son? You are the "STAR" of the day for that one. |

Her son was at home sound a sleep/(heavy sleeper I guess) I just got off the phone with her and she is doing great. She got her son up after she got home and he felt terrible for not waking up. he had just worked a double shift at work. She promised me she would not go out after her treatments alone anymore. |
My Daddy was on Dialysis for 16 years before his passing. It can really do a number on your body. The ladys Blood pressure probably dropped, that happens alot to people after treatment. Good thing you were there to help, great job! |

awwww that was so nice of you! Glad she is ok. I think you were her angel for the day! |
Wow, I'm so glad you were there and took notice. |
I used to work as a CNA at a dialysis clinic and we leave the BP cuff on them the whole time they're hooked up to the machine & the cuff automatically takes their BP every 15 minutes. We'd then make them stay around for at least 15 minutes after being taken of the machine, and we check once more before they leave. But it's SO easy for BPs to drop at the drop of a hat. Glad you were there for the old lady!! |
