Paris Living in Luxury!
 

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Paris.... Not Hilton... But Paris Drucker! ;)

Paris is living 1/4 mile away from me with good friends of mine, the Druckers! A fabulous German family! Their children are my age, grown and gone. They have one yorkie who is slightly younger than Paris and twice her size. Shatzie (sp?) Knows all of her commands in German, and is trained in every command I can even think of... She is the most well behaved Yorkie I have ever met! They live on a golf corse and go for walks every morning and Golf cart rides in the afternoon. Paris has taken to this resort lifestyle like a fish to water!

First two nights report... She cryeed for 3 or 4 mins when I left but a squeaky toy distracted her and she forgot all about me.... :rolleyes: Paris ate like a champ and much to EVERYONES surprise, slept in her crate without a peep! (after throwing a fit at Mistys I thought for sure she would give them hell) She is sharing a day bed with Shatzie but not her toys, lol That we expected... lol but no agression. The two girls seem to get on quite well.. I think they are just a good match...

Her new family is in love with her and her new mommy is having fun teaching her German. lol I will be visiting at the end of the week! I wanted to give it a solid week to give them a chance to establish a groove before I came by... I don't want her thinking that I'm there to take her home...

So all in all I am thrilled to report that everything is wonderfull and Paris is doing well. I will get to see her often and she is in a VERY loving home! :)

Now if I could just muster the motivation needed to get on this packing.:rolleyes:

Awesome!! I'm so glad little miss Paris is happy in her new home. She will be ok. It will take some adjusting (doesn't everything in life lol) but don't worry, you made the best decision for your family. I'm sure your dad couldn't be more thankful to you.

Oh that is great news Kathyrn. I am so glad Paris is adjusting well to her new home. That must be such a relief to you

How wonderful for you Kathryn not to have to worry anymore about
Paris. Paris sure sounds like she likes the good life:D Smart girl.
Well that's some stress off your shoulder's. You must be so very
happy this time it worked out. It's an added bonus you get to see
her often as well. Things work out eventually.
Now get packing:p

Yes.. the packing.... I know if I could get that first box together I would be ok.... Get on a roll, ya know?? lol

Need... to.... get.... started! ugh! But where to start??? I HATE MOVING! I really had no desire to do this so its not like I'm even excited about it.. lol Its just WORK.

That is so great to hear! Congrats to you and Ms. Paris for finding her a new home (and what sounds to be a fabulous one at that). Sounds like the "resort" life is treating her just fine ;). Great to hear a happy ending for Ms. Paris :)

Great news :) It sounds like Paris is loving her new family! This must be such a big weight off your shoulders...

Congrats the new placement seems to be a good one. I think it's hard having two alpha females as well as alpha males in a house. Sounds like paris is truly living in the lap of luxury. It sure is a dogs life :D

That's wonderful news!! I knew Paris would find the perfect home. It sounds like everything is working out wonderfully. I wish the Druckers and Paris the very best over the years to come! :)

That is wonderful Kathryn. I'm so glad you were able to find her a home that you can visit at times.

Kat -- I am so very happy that Paris is living in the lap of luxury on the golf course resort. Sounds like she is happy. I know that this takes a load off your mind.

YUCK, packing.....do you have a certain time frame to get everythign out of there and into your new place? If we were so far apart, I would gladly come out and help!

That is WONDERFUL, Kathryn. I was feeling so bad for you that first you had to give her up, and second that you were having trouble finding the right fit for her.

It sounds like Paris is going to be just fine. And that is great for both of you!

But if you happen to know of any other openings -- for a fur-free girl -- at a resort condo, I'd be happy to fill it.:D

When you mentioned the Drucker's... I kept thinking about Druker's store in Green Acres...:yelrotflm Sounds like Paris has it a bit nicer than that!

That is great news, must of been hard on you, but knowing she has a wonderful home helps !
I make lots of spelling mistakes in english, but i do pretty good in my native language ;) and the spelling is Schatzi :D
