My new baby, and Family
 

I have to share my weekend with my YT family. Hubby and I flew to the great state of Texas. We arrived At Dallas/Ft. Worth airport to be greeted by my very precious YT sister, Patty (aka patty58), her lovely daughter Barbi, and more than precious granddaughter Karris. We spent a few joyous moments hugging and hugging some more - :yay_jump: :ghug: :happyboun

Since it was 1/2 past lunchtime, we left the airport "in search of" TEXAS food. With Barbi behind the wheel we were in the Saltgrass parking lot in no time flat and what a wonderful surprise it was for Ron and me. Talk about GOOD EATS! Saltgrass was FANTASTIC only made better by the company we held.

After a liesure lunch we headed to the BMW dealership in Plano where we had another hugging session and some sad goodbyes (not enough time to visit!). Then I bought my new baby..... A Hyperblue fully loaded MiniCooper S automatic. I am in love :lovewings :cheer: :hearts6: We were on the road by 4:00 drove until around 11:30, stopped for a refreshing sleep in Jackson, MS and were back home in Rome, GA by 3:00. What a weekend!!!! Here are a few pics....

I didn't post the only pic of Barbi and Karris I had 'cause Barbi wasl squatting to pick up Karris and it wasn't exactly a flattering pic. Patty has some pics of Babri and Karris and will post them soon -- YOU'D BETTER!!

Wow why did you go all th eway to TX for a mini cooper? Don't they have dealerships in Atlanta that would be so much closer?

Plano, TX was the closest Mini Dealer that had what I wanted. Hubby and I tend to get a "wild hair" occasionally. When I started Mini shopping we popped on ebay to have a look-see and there was my dream car. Called the dealer that had the car, bought a one way plane ticket and the rest is history.

That's so great you got to meet a Y.T. member & they where able to help you out....that was so generous & sweet of Patty & her family ....Cindy, I am soooo jealous ...I want a Cooper so bad...that color is stunning!!

OH Man Cindy looks like your in heaven, now your going to have to drive to Tennessee for some weekends so we can play in your HOT new car....I love it....Congratulations....:D

It was our pleasure to meet and escort Cindy and Ron to pick up Cindy's new baby. Barbi will post pictures as soon as we get things unpacked. I will admit there were a few problems though....the time was too short....and Cindy and I both like to talk nonstop:D

Yay!! You got it! Cindy, that is wonderful! So nice to quit work and get a new car (hee,hee, wink, wink)!!! You deserve it! I love that color. My mother would love that! Oh, we ate at Saltgrass the last time we were in TX too! Wasn't it yummy?!!?
