I mentioned in another post that I think my youngest grandson looks like
me. What do you guys think? His brother Chris on the left and his sister are
both dark like their parents but Johnny is ME. LOL Go Irish!

LOL Yes he could be my son because my son looks just like him except he's
a redhead. You never know when those Irish genes will come out.

He does look just like you. You are right about those Irish Genes too. My younger son is biracial and he is as irish as the come with red hair and green/gray eyes!!! GO irish!!

Oh Carol he looks A LOT like you. Those genes definitely shone through!
But you know what? I don't think he has your nose. I think your OTHER grandson does!

So it looks to me like those genes are EXTRA resilient and made it to both boys.

The most important thing though is I think the genes we can't see have made it through, too. Sounds like the one grandson at least has your compassion and spirt and great sense of humor.:)

I was Kathryn. You read into faces very well.
The younger one Johnny just awarded his older brother Chris, who is a senior and will be gratuating this Sat, a football scholarship that was in memory
of their grandfather.(My late husband) Chris had all the creditials for the award this year.
It was a bitter sweet moment. My family has had this scholarship going
for the past 20yrs and Chris was not even born yet. So yes it was a wonderful happy moment for me.
There's a good chance that the younger one Johnny will also receive it
when he graduates. He holds a 4.o average and is MVP in three sports.
He is 13. Boy is grandpa proud.

WOW! What an amazing day that had to have been! No wonder you look so truely happy! You must have run the full spectrum of emotions that day.
