Please pray for my co-worker. Her ex boyfriend committed suicide last night. She left him about 1 week ago because he was mentally abusive. Today should have been a happy day for her because her daughter graduates from pre-k and she had a little party for her. He left her an email last night and asked her to pick up a gift he bought for her daughter but she just deleted the email and never went. I think he wanted her to find his body. I feel so bad for her because she feels guilty. I told her its not her fault. She feels some comfort right now as she just had a visit with the priest. Please keep her in your prayers. :hands: |

Oh wow. That's really tragic. I'm sorry for your co-worker - that's alot to have to live with but tell her that is NOT HER FAULT !! we are not responsible for others actions. |
I will definatley keep her in my prayers. She may need some ongoing counseling to help her deal with this tragedy. |

OMG...how awful for her! But how wonderful that she DID delete that email and DIDN'T go over there! Oh cripes..can you imagine how much worse she'd feel right now??? Just keep telling her it's not her fault. We always want to blame ourselves, but I had an ex bf who, after he'd broken up with me 3 different times and kept coming back, actually threatened to kill himself if I wouldn't take him back and I knew I'd feel TERRIBLE if he did do that, but I thought about the way he'd always treated me and knew I didnt' want to live that way, and if he was going to kill himself, then there was nothing I could do to stop him. Luckily, he wasn't quite that unbalanced, but I can imagine how your friend is feeling. There wasn't anything she could do to stop him from his lack of self-respect and respect for those he supposedly loved. Thank goodness she's got spiritual support and good friends who care about her! Bless her and you! |

Of course this is not her fault. She left him because he was unstable she needs to realize that. It's a shame he did not seek help. Thanks heavens she deleted that e-mail. That would have been very hard for your friend to live with seeing him there. Good luck to her. |

Wow I'm so sorry about that. My bf's sister is in a similar situation or was. She ended it with her ex and he has sent her texts saying he was gonna kill himself but they have a 6 yr old together. He's crazy. I hope your coworker the best. |
that is so terrible. Your co-worker is in my thoughts and prayers. Thank God she did delete the email. It would have been horrible if she had seen that. |
