Thanks for the hugs Villette. I truly am not looking forward to the surgery! Sheesh, I haven't been in a hospital (for myself) since I was a baby! I'm still so glad I got Mokah, she has been very sweet and still likes to sit with me quite a bit:)

Thank you! I'll be checking in....I'll probably end up with a couple thousdand more posts:p . I usally spend my favorite Summer moments at the pool and now we aren't even going to open it this Summer. No date shceduled yet....I figure it will be before the end of June.

Yes, it was the trampoline. As a matter of fact, when I went to physical therapy for the first time on June 11th, they told me I was the THIRD person in there THIS month due to trampolines! Not the same injury, but still!:eek:

Your comment on "NEVER pray for patience" cracked me up! Boy, if ONLY I'd known !

It's hard when you are so use to doing things yourself and have to now
depend on others. Don't even think about it, I am sure everyone is more
than happy to do what they can for you. Stuff happens.

Aw, thank you so much:) . Patience is a funny thing....I find that I have a LOT more time for it now:rolleyes: . What used to take me 2 minutes now takes about a half hour. Some little thing that USED to get on my nerves now becomes a challenge to try to accomplish. ...then the darndest thing happens....I am HAPPY I did it:)

Thanks I am still in the recovery period since it was only done 5 weeks ago..stilll in therapy. But in my case they really got me up on my feet fast. Of course it was with a walker then crutches then cane and most of the time now with nothing. You sound more llike what my daughter had and she was flat on her back for 2 weeks. Well not really flat on her back but on crutches with NO weight on her leg. Just keep your spirits up and know that it doesn't last forever. And do your therapy. If you ever need a pep talk PM me. My daughter lives here too and between the two of us, we have had 6 knee surgeries. We'll be glad to talk you thru it. Patty

Hi Julie! I'm just finishing (I hope) a 3 month recovery from a back surgery. I am only able to walk 20 minutes per day now. EEK! Zoe and Robyn never leave my side, they pull me through my walk. I find out tomorrow if I can start rehab. :rolleyes: Wish me luck!

Oh gosh Laura, I will keep you in my prayers! I pray you have a FULL recovery.

My reconstructive surgery is scheduled for July 9th if all goes well with the Arteriogram I have this Monday. They are afraid I may have injured an artery also:eek: . The doctor said if I did, then my knee injury means NOTHING without getting that taken care of first. S C A R E Y!!!! Will update more later. Thank you everyone who posted!!!!!!!!!!!

WEll, alittle late, but I figured out what happened. My anniversary was the 9th, (if you had the surgery) I hope all goes well and I am praying for you!!!

My mother in law always tells me not to pray for patience, either. (But, I still do!!!)
