My Brother's Chi-Weenie was hit and killed by a car this morning...
 

Please say a prayer for their sweet baby, Roscoe Pico Train - he was hit and killed by a car this morning on their street after my brother and sister in law left for work. He was a Chi/Dachshund mix (although he looked like a purebred Doxie) - he looked SO much like my Mini Dachshund, Pippi :( It just breaks my heart. He was only about 8 months old. And what's worse is that my brothers 8 year old step daughter who lives with them, just lost her step sister to a horse accident and she was the only one there when it happened - she SAW it as she was riding a horse right next to her...her step sister was only 18 when she died :( My brothers step daughter is at her dads house right now (thank God) but she is going to be so terribly upset when she comes back home and Roscoe isn't there :( My brothers step daughter (also named Brooke) has just been through so much lately with losing her step sister, and now her puppy, and she is only 8 years old :(

Please say a little prayer for Roscoe Pico Train (was't that a cute name :( - it was from the Dukes of Hazzard, my brothers favorite T.V. show when he was little). Roscoe was only 8 months and he was the cutest, funniest little thing ever. When he ran his little ears would fly straight back as if he were running at lightening speeds! Just like my Pippi :( He was extremely playful and very loving and he is going to be missed sooo much :( It just breaks my heart.

Also, please say a little prayer for Brooke, my brothers step daughter as she is just going to be completely crushed when she finds out what happened to her puppy :( She has been through ALOT lately.

Brooke what a tragedy. I am so sorry for the loss of your brother's little
dog. He was such a baby still. Your little niece will need lots of love and
support to get her through yet another tragedy in her short life.
Prayer's coming for everyone to help with their broken hearts.

BTW...my daughter loves the name Roscoe (Roscoe Pico Train) too! She is a huge Dukes of Hazzard fan (where that came from, I haven't a clue)....

That is so sad for every one involved!...My heart breaks for them all & I pray the kids have the strength to get through this also... their spirit must be so broken...so much pain for that whole family...

I am so very, very sorry this has happen to that family. How horrible for the little girl to have gone thru such much pain. Prayers will go out to your brother and his family.

OH NO! I hate to hear such sad, tragic stories!! Poor little guy!! And poor little girl!! I am sending lots of love and prayers your way for little Roscoe and for little Brooke! She has been through a whole lot in a short time for a little girl! Big hugs to you....

Thanks so much Jenn. I just think Roscoe Pico Train is the cutest little name, and it fit my brothers little dog SO perfectly :( The poor baby. I just feel so awful and depressed about this....he was such a sweet little thing, and was still just a baby :( Sooo sad...:(

I am so very sorry! He was obviously much loved.

What a terrible tragedy. I am so sorry and will say a prayer for Roscoe's family. He sounds like he was a fun, full of life puppy and his sweet little life was cut short. RIP, little sweetheart.

There are not enough words that are going to bring comfort to Brooke. Roscoe would probably have been her "rope" to hang on to thru the tragedy of losing her step-sister. 8 years old is way too young to have to face life's cruel injustices, Bless her heart. I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Spread your little wings wide, Roscoe, and fly with the wind.:( I am so sorry for her and her family, and you, too.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Roscoe Pico Train. I just cannot imagine the pain they are going through. Losing a beloved that way. I will say prayers for the entire family and an extra one for dear little Brook. Sending hugs :ghug:
