Kathryn, We got Sammy from a YT'er that was in a similar situation and decided to let her go. We LOVE her and she has adjusted beautifully. Loki loves having a sister and we enjoy her so much. It took a while to get to know her but now I feel like she is mine. Once Paris and Charlie settle in they will be fine. It's a wonderful thing when other people love our dogs as much as we do. |
I WISH paris was coming to Texas with me! BUt Im sure she will do awesome in her new home and its great you will be able to see her at meet ups. And your dad is such a sweet man, you know I think its great that you are relocating so he will be able to stay with you. You have a huge heart! We miss you here on YT, you have been playing entirely too much W.O.W. lately! I'm sure Darwin wouldl agree with me! ;) :D |
Congrats Misty! What a beauty, but I would expect nothing less from Kathryn. I am thrilled for both of you, Kathryn knowing Paris will be going to a loving home, and you for having a sister for Chloe. She's just precious! Life is just life sometimes and there's no way around what happens. You've found the best possible homes for the two dogs you cannot take with you, and you've done them well by doing that for them :). You're doing the only thing that you can, and that takes a lot of unselfishness and caring in the process :) Good luck to you w/the upcoming move and everything that is happening in your life right now!! :) |
OMG she is sooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful!!!!!!! I know this has to be very hard for you to do but you should be commended on seeing what is best for Paris. You found her a WONDERFUL home where you do not have to worry for one second if she is ok. And at least you will be able to still be a part of her life through YT. You did good hun. and you will be blessed in the end...you are taking care of your father and I can tell you first hand that you will not regret it. I missed out on taking care of my Granny (she was like a parent to me...I never had my parents) and when she passed away, I was so heartbroken that I was not around her more. she lived in another state and I was not there for her. I live with that every day and miss her dearly. One day, you will look back and be so happy and thankful that you took care of your daddy. You are doing the right thing and I think we all understand how hard this must be for you. chin up!! And Misty..Congrats on the new addition. You must be so excited. You are getting one beautiful girl and she sounds like a real sweetie!! Please keep us posted :) |

Kathryn, I am glad to hear from you....you have been gone for so long...hee,hee! You have a big heart for taking in your father and caring for him. You have had a lot going on in your life it seems. I hope all is well! I know that Paris and Charlie will be well loved and taken care of! I have always loved both of them (I am a huge lab fan and have always adored Paris, she is beautiful)...I wish we were closer (shoot, I would have caught a flight to you) to get Paris, we have been looking for a gorgeous female to love on and add to our family.
