Politics here - but what do you think of this?

Makes me pretty nervous having grown up in the age of hiding under my desk at school each day with my skirt over my head. That's how we used to take shelter in case of air raids and "the bomb".

What is he thinking? This is the first I've heard of this, so I'm going to have to search for more info.

Does anyone have any informed opinions?

I have heard about this before, and the fact I have the news on 24/7 helps. Russia appears to be threatened by us putting up a missle defense just incase Iran goes crazy, among other reasons, but I have a feel were gonna be trying to take out the Iranian leader next, because not only is he unpredictable, but he is a threat to the US and the rest of the world, I feel that most people that have their political and relgious views aligned do, and I am conservative. I think that the relgious views allow people to justify their actions in their own mind. Another reason Russia might feel threatned is because there has been some talk floating around that Russia might be responsible for providing Iran with alot of their nuclear technologies. I think its crazy they are making these threats, but if some random country was putting up missle defenses in say Canada or CUBA, the latter of the two carries more weight, we would worry too, the difference is that we, in my opinion, dont pose a world wide threat to innocent countries, even though some people might argue against that with us being in Iraq, but I feel our motovations are defensive and not by any means offensive.
