Prayers Needed I posted long ago about my 2 grown kids that I care for here at home. Amy woke up about 3 days ago and her right hand is just limp. She has feeling in it, and can move her fingers some but can't move her wrist. It just hangs there limp and her little fingers kind of curl under. At first I thought she must have slept on it but this is day four. She sees whatever county doctor is on call because she is 24 and never been able to work, they help with her 8 prescriptions each mon. I humbly ask for prayer for my girl, this is a new one for us. There are so many other things wrong with her sometimes I wonder how much we are supposed to be able to stand. Is raing here bad this morning but she needs to be seen. Just asking for prayer, God knows her need and was just looking for someone to stand in agreement with me this morning. Sincere thanks~Denise :) |

We just got home from the dr. He says Amy has parlasys of the nerves. Right now he has put it in a cast. We go back tomorrow when it dries and they will split it up the sides so it can be taken off for the nerve tests and therapy he has ordered..then it will go back on with Ace bandage. That's all we know for now, and I appreciate all the prayers that were offered. I knew this was the place to go. Thanks so much. :) |

Oh sending prayers out to your daughter and yourself! I hope the tests give you some answers and even more, I hope her wrist is "back to normal" quickly! |
Thanks for the update on Amy. Will continue to keep her in our prayers! |
Amy went for her EMG (nerve test) yesterday. There is extensive nerve damage all the way to her elbow. She is being sent yet to another neurologist. This dr said it could last a year or forever. She has been doing her college courses online, it's what she looks forward to each day..not that's not going to be happening. She won't be able to keep up in the discussions with one hand. Things will get better, I know they will. Just another rock in the road. Thanks hun, for remembering her. Amy says thank you also. |
