You all know who I was rooting for and he didn't win :( , I kind of knew Jordin was going to take it all though.

I guess YT got it right, I had another thread for YT members to vote for who they thought was going to win and Jordin got the most votes. Good Job YT :thumbup:

I' am depressed though, my Blaker didn't win. Anyways, it was a GOOD show loved all the performances especially, Gwen, Kelly, and Carrie.. Carrie got a NICE award.

Don't feel too bad for Blake. I think he's gonna do just fine. Remember, Chris Daughtry finished fourth!

I agree that it's a little sad, though. I think Blake worked harder than anyone.

Exactly....with the exception of Kelly Clarkson & Carrie Underwood.....what have any of the winners done??? Not much...at least not much that we hear about.

I didn't see him perform. I only saw part of the first hour. I was doing some stuff & then had to switch over to LOST when it came on at 8.

I'm sad too...I liked both Jordin and Blake but I think part of the reason she won was because of the last song...That's just not fair. That song was not a Blake song at all. He would never sing a song like that in real life. I really felt that wasn't a fair shot to Jordin and Blake.

Ahhhh :( Well I wanted Blake to win...I personally thought that he was something "different" and unique and I liked him. BUT - I pretty much knew that Jordin would win...meaning that I was expecting it, but I'm not worried. I know this won't be the last we see of Blake ;) They are ALL winners :thumbup:

I believe it's better that Blake didn't win. A record company will pick him up & he'll get to make his kind of music. The song he was forced to sing is the kind of songs that are on that first album that the winner is forced to put out. It wouldn't be his type of music. So now he's in a better stop, he got good exposure & can make his album.

Your absolutly right I never thought of it that way. The winner's of American Idol is tied to them and have to do what A.I. wants them too. Blake got the exposure he needed so all he needs to do is push it. Which Dougie Fresh B. boxed with him on A.I. last night and he really liked Blake. I'm sure somebody is going to sign him.

I had to add this, Rueeeeeeeben Studdard where has he been?? Does anyone know? I haven't seen him since he won, what was it 2-3 years ago..

Oh, but you DID see him on AI last night, right??? He was there :D But I'm assuming you mean "where has he been?" as in singing/in the media ;)

Jordon was definitely the better singer of the two and deserved to win. Blake is a great entertainer though and I really enjoyed watching him

I totally agree. :thumbup: I love Blake. Maybe Jordin has a stronger voice but Blake is definitely more creative and talented. He is also an incredible performer and entertainer. He makes you jump out of your seat and want to dance!!

All in all, I like Jordin and I'm glad she won. But you don't really need to WIN American Idol in order to make it. Just look at Chris Daughtry who finished 4th or Jennifer Hudson who finished 7th. Even Clay Aiken who finished 2nd and Katherine McPhee who finished 2nd are doing great and even Kelly Pickler (I have her CD, it's real cute). I forget the name of the magazine (I think it was People) but they voted Katherine McPhee as one of the top most beautiful people. There are many ways to win (either in music or movies) and I'm sure we'll see a lot more from our Blake! :p

Oh yeah, we can't forget good old country boy BUCKY!! LOLOL and Elliot Yamin. So you see, winning isn't everything. :D
