I can't stand the View, but have to say I much perfer Rosie over that "in denial" Elisabeth. I think she has been sheltered too much and needs to learn a few more things about life. Watching her makes me want to slap her. |

I do not watch the view, but watching that clip on You Tube made me want to slap the crap out of Elisabeth, she seems like she has been a SPOILED brat her whole life. She was so annoying and would not stop like a spoiled little kid trying to get her way I'm surprised she didn't get on the floor and start throwing a fit. As for Rosie thats Rosie  . She tells it like it is and people can't handle the truth. P.S. Hate Bush he is running our country to sh%^t. How many more American soliders need to die for him to STOP. |
IMO Rosie is a very crude person, I won't even use the word woman to describe her. She just turns my stomach! I think Elizabeth had really had her limit of Rosie and her foul mouth. |
I ususally cannot even watch that show because of reasons like that. I hate the political fights they have. Do we really care what their opinions are about that??? I don't personally. I know it's called the View for a reason & they are allowed to give their opinions, but I think they carry it a little far. I used to like Rosie, but not anymore. I think she's changed from what she used to be. She's so cynical about everything now & it's as if everything & everyone is out to get her in her opinion. Why does she need to keep picking fights with everyone??? I don't get it. |

I think one of the biggest problems in this country is that WAY TOO MANY people are getting their political "FACTS" from shows like this. I don't believe any of them knows near enough to really be spewing political views on worldwide television. I don't know when we started thinking every movie star and media personality somehow possesses some supreme political knowledge. Sure they have a right to their opinions but why on earth do we think their opinions are worth any more than the unnamed guy you pass on the street? Another problem is that the "NEWS" media are making editorial statements instead of reporting unbiased news. It is actually VERY difficult to sift through all the slants to find the real story. It takes a LOT of reading and watching boring C-span to know even half of the real story. Guarranted that you don't know it if you are basing your views on CNN or the View! No one will agree with all that happens in any administration. President Bush himself, probably has had to make decisions that were not exactly what he would have wanted. When world politics is so complicated, no one can do exactly what they want all the time. He is definately not my favorite president of all time (not my least favorite either, by a long shot)-- but -- I will always remain respectful. When we started showing such open contempt and disrespect for our nation's leaders, we lost a LOT of respect as a nation. There is such a thing as positional respect whether you agree with a person completely, a little, or not at all. Respect does not equal abject agreement. But, just as showing respect for one's parents or boss goes a long way to define a person's own self-respect and self-worth -- so does showing respect for the top governmental position in one's country. The way we treat the "most powerful position in the world" is the VERY reason we have so few of the genius-caliber, natural born leaders vying for the job. JMHO! |
Wow. I'm quite saddened by how truly nasty some of the comments are about these women. I think both of their opinions are NEEDED - how would we get anywhere on any issue without debate and differing opinions? Not that it matters, but I agree more w/ Rosie than Elizabeth, BUT, I respect them both for being willing to put themselves out there for discussion and, clearly, harsh judgement. But, to call Rosie crude (and worse) and Elizabeth ignorant or stupid - well - I'm actually at a loss for words about how mean hearted that seems to me. At the end of the day, these are smart wormen who clearly are informed and who have differing opinions about their information. Can we not respect them as such? |

If they want to help save the world--just go about doing it, not squaking about it. Anyone watch BBC news? TV or internet....It's about the only thing I can stomach. The US world news is sort of a joke-------there is so much more going on around the world--(the USA is not the world) that we don't hear about on US stations. I am not dogging the US. I do feel as though we are fed only what they'd like to spin to us to keep us scared or happy depending. We hear more reporting on the Britneys, Annas and Paris' than we do actual news. I only wish I had a good solution to the madness. |
OK I'm the end ball here, but i like Rosie, she have done a lot for the troops and children's, yes she out speaking , but you need to be in this world, there nothing wrong with Rosie she a caring person just like the rest of us she just want the troops to come home, why is that so wrong for her to spoke her mind about that ??? i agrees with everything Rosie say {does that make be me a bad person}I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that feel the same way Rosie does! I'm sick of people making fun of her cause she gay and overweight. why make fun of someone who is different???? |
I guess I just can't let this go. Sorry... :( I know FIDebra mentioned the word respect. And this is why we are so lucky to live in America, we get to voice our opinions. I think that people have to earn my respect and I'm so sorry to say that President Bush doesn't have mine. I am so... sad to hear of how many of our troops have died so far. These are peoples sons & fathers. I just can't see any end to this war. Those people over there will probably never live in peace. Hopefully someday they will, but I don't think I will see it in my lifetime. :( That's why Rose & Elizabeth are both entitled to their opinions, cause we live in America, Thank God! Thank you, everyone for indulging me and my opinion. :thankyou2 |
I have no Problem with Rosies Sexual preference or the fact that she is out spoken. I agree and don't agree with some of her Views it is the Ucouth trashy way she states them that I can not stand. You would think she could learn a more educated and a little more graceful way of bringing her views to the public. |
I just can't stand the show, so I choose not to watch it. |
Well, I guess we all just need to understand that when it comes to politics, EVERYONE is going to have their own opinions and different views - and that is FOREVER. It will ALWAYS be like that, and nothing is going to change it. Not everyone is going to agree and because of that, sometimes we all just need to agree to disagree. I personally do not like Rosie, but that is just my opinion. And as I always say, when someone brings up the subjects of politics and religion, you can always except strong opinions ;) These are two subjects that people can go round and round about for hours. |
