I have been a fan of american idol for a long time, but darn...why you guys have to post results before I can even watch it.

I live in the UK and the show is televised on our chanels probably a day latter or so and last week someone posted the results of who went home, before I could even watch the show...PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE do not do that, or at least if you do it, do not put the name of the winner down.:( :( :(

i agree if you are going to post about a show that hasn't aired everywhere can you put something like "American Idol Spoiler or results" not OMG blakw won American Idol lol/

It's hard not to talk about that kind of stuff. Maybe if they posted in the title that the names are inside, that way you could just avoid that thread until after you have seen it. But I really don't think you're going to get anyone to not talk about it. It's hard enough to wait until they know the west coast has seen it!!

On another board I'm on, whenever someone talks about a show that just aired in their timezone, they ALWAYS put, for example, "American Idol Spoiler" as the title of the thread.

Well, I don't ask them not to talk about it. Just not to put in the title any names.

That's exactly what I am talking about. I don't want everyone to stop talking about it b/c of me...I just don't want them to put any names in the title. Like that if I read the post or not then it's my choice.

No spoiling here though ;) I'm not going to put who won, but MAN is it going to be hard! :eek:

By the way....you may not want to go to web sites such as yahoo.com - because they always plaster the winner's picture on their home page pretty much right after they win ;)

That is so true! You will have a hard time since you are a week later on the show results...there are just too many places that will be talking about it.
AND I know that there are too many Idol fans on here and they won't be able to keep quiet for a week! You will just have to try really hard not to open any threads relating to Idol!!! I am just saying this because I don't want you to be disappointed when you see a thread posted tonight about who won! It's a public forum and I know that with all the fans, there will be something posted. Willpower girl! heehee

EXACTLY. It will be ALL OVER the t.v. and ALL OVER the internet ;) Will be kinda hard not to find out SOMEWHERE who won ;)

Question: Why do they show American Idol over there??? Don't y'all have your own version of it (I can't remember what it's called)? I thought ours was a copy of yours. Just wondering.
