Honeysuckle Overload
 
I am overwhelmed by the scent of honeysuckle! I dropped a glass bottle of Bath & Body Works honeysuckle scented Wallflowers on my tile floor. Of course it broke and it soaked right into the grout. I had to clean it up and it is oil based but now I can't get it off my hands. Is this going to hurt my dogs? Is there anything I should soak my hands and floor with to get the smell off? I love the smell in small controlled doses but this is too much!

Oh I love that sent........ I know coffee beans will take the smell out of your hands. a strong cleaner for the floor...

Hi! How are you doing? I am going to try the coffee because I tried to talk on the phone and the smell was so strong it almost made me gag. This is the first time I've tried this scent and we were so excited. I think I might try something stronger on the floor though.

You could try vinegar to neutralize the smell - plus its safe to leave on for a few minutes and won't hurt the grout....though I bet it smells wonderful...

LEMON also may work too on your hands..heck - they use it to take fish smells off your hands I would think it would work on oil too

LOL I thought of the coffee because that is what the perfume shops use to sniff between smells :) I ike the lemon Idea too:)

Vinegar or baking soda are good choices.
I have heard that lemon and or salt will take smells from your hands.

I love those wallflowers, but we had to unplug ours because the smell bothered Mojo. (sad)

Oh I love honeysuckle. Where did you get it? My bath and body works stopped selling it a few years back. Hmmmm haven't been there in awhile maybe it's back.

I'd be careful with vinegar as I believe that it'll eat some types of tile.

I found the honeysuck scent today and I was so excited. It's probably why I dropped it on the floor ;) . I think it is part of their new summer series. The smell is beginning to wear off so it is more bearable. BTW they are having their $6 sale too.
