I received an email yesterday from someone asking to cite my thesis in her work and I didn't even realize the Department had made them available. I haven't looked at it in 2 years but just looked through it quickly and I totally forgot that in my acknowledgments I wrote:

Simon, rescuing you rescued me.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW this was written before I had Hallie. I actually made myself cry again :) Oh the memories of having a puppy, reading and writing ALL night long, it was a crazy time in my life. I wonder where all that energy came from?

Anyhoo, just wanted to share :)

You go girl!! I wrote my master's thesis and graduated in May 2004 (I think, crap can't remember the year LOL). Mine's not online, though. My friend and I worked together and wrote about Parental Involvement in Middle School just like Lynda Sather did on that site.

So, without reading all those pages, tell me a little about what it's about. ;)

You write VERY well - have you thought of graduate school :D Actually, I was thinking about a PhD - writing is half the battle.

I read some of your work - VEERY interesting topic. I always love to read qualitative studies (I'm an academic nerd :rolleyes: ). They are so much more informative and interesting than quantitative research!

Congratulations to you!!! I also got my Master's in 2004 and will forever be grateful that I didn't have to do a thesis. Not that I didn't do plenty of work, but I'm just not a very good writer, so a thesis would probably have killed me.
