Beef Jerkey? Hello everybody! I went to the states in 2001 and learned to eat beef jerky as snacks. Last year my husband and I went to Thailand and there I bought him some and it was ok, but not nearly as good as real american beef jerky. It was not spiced. The brand was something I bought in a hunting store and other than plain there were all kinds of spiced variations. We have no such thing in Denmark. =( So now my questions are: Do you know what beef jerky I am talking about? Can it be bought online? Is it at all legal to buy food/snacks online and have it send to Denmark? Does any of you know this? Thanks in advance :) |
You will probably have a really hard time finding the specific kind of jerky that you had when you were here...it's a pretty common thing (especially in a hunting store!). My boyfriend's favorite brand is Robertsons http://www.robertsons-hams.com/store...ode=shop&cid=7 . You might also want to try a store called Bass Pro Shops http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.OnlineShopping ...they have a ton of different kinds. If you can get a food dehydrator and some meat rub, you can make your own really easy too. As far as shipping, if my friends can order absynthe (illegal here) and get it shipped from Amsterdam, I'm hoping you can get some beef jerky. Good luck! |
Yeah Absinth is illegal here too! :) I have been trying to buy a food dehydrator for some time now, but stores in Denmark have no clue to what it is. How much do they cost in the states? Thank you for the links - I'll loook at them and see if it's possible :) |
