Sewing question.... When cutting out a pattern do you cut directly on the line of the pattern or do you leave a little room? |
Cut exactly on the line for the size that you want. A seam allowance of 5/8 in is already figured into the pattern piece unless the pattern instructions say a different amount is allowed. What are you making? |

Good for you! No problem. Just take your time and use plenty of pins to hold pieces together until you get good at it. It will make things lay much nicer in the end. I love to sew. I just finished several bridesmaids dresses for my daughter's wedding next week. If you get good at it, maybe you will be doing that one day! ;) OR you can make furkid clothes. Good luck.
