Finally I'm Getting My Laptop Replaced!
 
I'm so happy right now... In the last 5 weeks my laptop has been in for repair THREE times and each time within 24hrs of getting back it's gone wrong AGAIN with the same fault! :eek: :mad: The LCD screen just stops working! I got it back at 9.15 this morning and they'd replaced the LCD screen, I thought this might of fixed it but didn't hold my breathe... My warrant expires on the 25th of this month and if it didn't go wrong again before then I'd be stuck with a useless laptop! :(

About an hour ago, (less within 12 hours of getting it back), the sound just stopped working... :eek:

I rang them up and now I'm getting a replacement! :D

I will be going to the store tomorrow morning to return mine and picking myself out a lovely new one! YAY!

Computer problems are the PITS! We have become so dependent on them and when they quit or have problems - it messes up our whole day!!!

Glad that you are getting a new one - hope it works better than the old one!

wow that's great!! I'm glad you're getting a replacement. You're quite lucky it quit working while yet under warenty. Usually they start giving you trouble a couple days after the warenty expires!! lol

I know, I couldn't believe my luck. Went and got my replacement today... it's better, high spec and it's a Toshiba, so I have faith in this one! :D

huh its kinda like they have an internal clock and its like ok its been in use for 367 days lets quit working now

they plot against us :p

but im glad you got a new one

i got my laptop from an auction
they were auctioning off old school stuff

but you know my cuz bought a brand new one and she hsad to replace her hard drive and getthis she had to do it herself

they told her they would mail it out to her and she had to install it herself nad if she didnt send the old one back that she was going to have to pay for the new one

That SUCKS... I would of kicked off and demanded that they do it... that's what a warranty is for!

i also had to take my laptop in, i was going crazy without it:rolleyes: still could use my daughters in her room, but its just not the same, they had it for a week, its a dell and my warrenty had run out:( the place that fixed it only gives you a 90 day so im keeping my fingers crossed.

I kept crossing mine but it didn't work, I hope you have better luck than me! 3 repairs in 5 weeks! :(

It was an Advent... Don't recommend them, aside from the repairs it went in for there was a whole list of things I didn't like about it.... :(
