Daddy's still in hospital - not doing well Daddy will be in the hospital 2 weeks Monday. He's really been thru it. He now has heart problems on top of the colon removal surgery and is on a liquid diet. He doesn't want anything but ice chips and won't try anything else. The doctor says that if he doesn't eat soon he will have to have a feeding tube. He's not responding to physical therapy for his back and has told me, Mama, and my 2 sisters that he isn't going to make it. I feel that he has just given up. He pulled out his stomach tube and the IV's and has just about run out of veins. Please continue to pray for him. We have a large prayer network going and my family feels that prayer is the only thing keeping him going. Thank you all |

You and your family have my prayers, I know from personal experience how tough it can be when a parent is ill and you are trying to hold everything together. |
My heart goes out to you. Sending my best to your dad, your family and you. |

i'm so sorry to hear about your dad, i will keep your whole family in my prayers |
I am so sorry. I know how hard it is to have a very sick parent. Maybe you can talk to your Dad's doctors and they can put him on an antidepressent to help him deal with all he has to go thru and it may get him eating as well. They have helped my Dad a lot in dealing with my Mom's recent death. You and your family are in my prayers. |
I too have gone thru this type of ordeal, and it is very difficult. I have lost both my parents and both of my inlaws to cancer. It totally consumes all your energy and strength, but try to stay focused and strong, your dad and your family needs you. May God Bless you and keep you. Again I am so very sorry. |
