ROTFLMAO hahahahahahahaha things with kids in them really bother me because my kids are weird and they scare the begezus out of me sometimes lol. i will never watch that show the boogy man because my oldest freaks me out as it is he always tells me mom there is someone watching me or someone is under the bed i could just smack him sometimes lol. I've never seen that one ... I'm too chicken. :rolleyes: Did you ever see Jeepers Creepers? Man, that one gave my nightmares too!!

nope i seen a few parts of it but never really tried to watch it lol and i try not to do outside horror flicks either lol i can't even go camping anymore because of some of them lol
i did watch texas chainsaw massacare and that freaked me out espeacially the end because that was a true story

I watched both versions of this film and found them both hauntingly vapid, although the foreign version did explain more.

Cinematically speaking, the dark scenes,the gloomy weather,and the apartment block itself, even though occupied with people, looks ominous to begin with. The long narrow corridor lack warmth and the doors of the apartment are metal, giving it a cold prison like feel. As you see the apartment for the first time its is devoid of character just dark and foreboding.


Like the Ring Trilogy the end is of someone making a sacrifice to protect a loved one even though that person will be damned to spend time in horror.
Haunting, simply haunting.

I sometimes like horror flicks but usually on a rainy sunday afternoon but this one sounds too disturbing for even me..and I'm not one to watch comedies or hokey love stories...

I love mysterys and crime based movies....but not sadistic sicko stuff like this sounds. I agree with what someone said...and we wonder why our country is SO obsessed with killing and gore ? We FEED it.

I like movies about vampires, werewolves and zombies because they aren't REAL. They're fake, made-up characters. But I do NOT like to watch horror movies where people are hunted down and killed (like in The Hills Have Eyes or Jeepers Creepers).

Ya know, I watched that and thought it was stupid...but later on, it really DID get to me. Not sure why. 13 Ghosts really scared me until I watched the special features where it shows the actors getting their makeup and clowning around...it was really hard to be scared of them afterwards.

13 ghosts was bad for me too! Although I could stand that one, it was just really scary. I couldn't handle the hills have eyes. I kept walking in and out of the room doing other stuff and yelling at my hubby for continueing to watch it! LOL! I can' stand when there is a baby/kid involved ever! And I am really getting mad at all the disgusting stuff they do to women in the movies.You rarely see movies where the men are so horrifyingly victimized.

Yes, this movie was disgusting. And the part about the mother was totally unecessary and absolutely gross.

Tell me about it!! What that creature did to the younger sister and the older sister was beyond horrific. It was obsene and disgusting. I felt sick over it for weeks. The funny thing is they didn't even SHOW the young girl getting raped but yet it still made me sick to my stomach, that's how graphic it was.

I don't know what version you saw, but it was there loud and clear on the one on our TV! (hmmm...wonder if there are 2 versions)

Maybe I\'m weird, but I liked it?

Disgusting, yes. Disturbing, yes. Made my stomach turn, most definitely. But I also love scary movies, The Devil\'s Rejects is my favorite, I just love it. I thought The Hills Have Eyes would have been a little bit over the top and stupid, but it kept me shocked and on my toes.
